Do you have the ENERGY! This review is about the personal trainer Juancho Vitangcol. Juancho is a great and high energy personal trainer for any type of athlete or training that you want to excel at. He gets you motivated by switching up the workouts that target your weaker area or areas that you want improved (a lot of core and balance for me). His lively and energetic personality also gets you through the workout.
They doing really great work especially the way how serious they train kids !!!
Perfect place to learn the ropes and hit the cardio. Personal trainers are top notch and always open to help out. Classes are fun and each instructor has his/her own style so each class has something unique to offer. Sparring and private training is also available. Between kickboxing, boxing, boot camps, sparring and weight training, you will definitely find something for you at LA KO!!
Overall a great experience whether you want to workout alone, take as many classes as you want , or train with great trainers! Really good with new members like myself, or with more experience.
Great gym with an amazing and encouraging community. I have met many awesome people here. My one suggestion is to have more morning boxing classes because the times are a little hard to fit into my schedule.
Thankful I got to meet some great trainers here and get some great workouts. However, there's not much consistency from class to class or trainer to trainer. I didn't feel there was a strong community of people training or the trainers. That's important to me to feel welcome, motivated and safe especially as a woman.
Lots of nice people but sadly too many changing faces. Personal training is personal and it's demotivating to suddenly have a relationship end either for a class or a training session. Over 7 months I saw trainers come and go every few weeks. I also saw more new faces than regulars going to the classes.
There are lots of class times and types so if you just need a get-in-get-out 60-minute cardio session or boxing gym for solo training it works.
Nice gym, but impossible to cancel service. Update: The gym, trainers, price are great. Still not a fan of their complicated cancellation process post contract but they did eventually do right by me.
Such an awful experience, I too tried canceling but Ian the owner couldn't seem to comprehend that this was not going to work for my husbands schedule and with repeated phone conversations he just kept talking around it. This entire situation with him as an owner of a business is disgusting. I work in business myself and to see this type of service from a small business is appalling. Do not get a membership at this gym.

I echo Kym Allens post the same exact situation happened to me. #1 impossible to cancel membership. #2 boxing equipment is not working 90% of the time (they buy cheap speedbags n double end bags so they are always broken. Btw I expressed this to the owner Ian and he said i was insulting his business, Not an insult Ian just stating facts and if it hurts u fix it). #3 management sucks (Obviously), all they care about is how they can take more money from you. So if u like to get scammed, come here. The only person who knows what they are talking about and can learn from is justin and I'm surprised he hasn't left because it seems like all the personal trainers leave after a couple of months. You money is better somewhere else.

I just got off of the phone with the manager who thought it was okay to hang up the phone on me in the middle of a conversation. He claimed that I wouldn't stop yelling, when I had to raise my voice over the two men on the line who wouldn't let me finish a thought. I had had a pleasant experience here up until this point, but a misunderstanding turned ugly very quick. Says a lot about them. I'm also being forced into paying for a month of service that I didn't even use. Most professional establishments work with their long time clients, especially when there was a clear misunderstanding about freezing vs. canceling. Luckily I've found other places with a lot more class to train.

I love this gym! I came for the 10 day free trial and I'll never ever leave. Alejandro is amazing. He pulled out all of the stops and made my friend and I feel like we weren't just another face in the gym. As a woman sometimes you can get intimated by a gym with lots of guys, but this gym is different. It isn't a club and everyone is hyperfocused. I love it love it love it!

Great atmosphere
Its nice to be able to come in with my kids and work.
Love this place. Friendly, diverse and experienced staff. Energetic and fun classes. Very affordable rates. A lot of the clientele are long time members so there is a sense of camaraderie and family here that I find lacking in the larger gyms. Highly recommended.
