Planet Fitness is an excellent establishment. I'm a black card member who travels frequently to other States and I love the convenience of being able to work out across the nation. The fitness trainers are professional and they know their craft. For the price a member gets more than what they pay for.

Everyone is very friendly and out going. I really love this gym more than any other locations. Chris, at the Check In desk is always very helpful and friendly when I come in. Makes me feel like home. I definitely recommend this Gym for its laid back and clean atmosphere. Big shout out to Chris and the team for an outstanding accommodating service!

Equipment not properly maintained for example you find many equipment with sweat. I would reccomend management to provide more paper towels and cleaning spray to make it more convenient to clean. Lastly I loved that they had pizza for everyone.

Love this gym it's close by to my house. Staff at 4 am super nice. On this the water has cold as hell for past 3 days. Hopefully I don't die.

This gym is terrible. There is absolutely no gym etiquette and the staff seems ok with that. People take 2-3 sets of weights or machines at a time and then leave without cleaning it or putting the equipment back. The gym is small as it is and doesn't have enough equipment to support a large crowd so add that to the aforementioned issue and you basically cant complete a workout outside of the treadmill, which is the only thing they have plenty of. Save yourself the money and headache of trying to do a workout here and just go to your local park and jog/run.

If you're in any kind of hurry at all, this place (and most other Planet Fitness gyms) will drive you crazy. Way too many patrons that just sit on machines they're not even using scrolling and texting for half an hour at a time. If they notice you've been standing next to them for five minutes waiting (they usually don't notice or don't care) they will pretend to be using it for about 5 seconds then pull their phone out again. You can't even use the 30 minute workout room at all. People just sitting on almost every machine. Staff should really be just one or two people behind the counter and everyone else out on the floor asking people to please exhibit the simple common courtesy to stand up if you're not using a machine when there are literally hundreds of people in the gym waiting patiently to use them. This should actually be stressed to customers upon joining, but the place can't seriously be considered a gym if half the people there are the sort of folks that sit at a green light while texting and completely ignore everyone honking, so staff needs to be especially diligent in discouraging this sort of behavior.

Horrible staff always eating mess everywhere...rack of weights always empty even when the gym is lonely... I usually attend the one in lynwood but I moved and now this one is closer...hate that I have no choice but to exercise in a total joke of gym... so sad...

I really this place everyone that works is great friendly but they only have to showers that work and it's a mess all the time what a joke . thinking about going to the one in Lynnwood my God it's like Beverly hills compared to Huntington Park no doubt about it even South Gate is better one thing is crew love them all super nice and friendly they get four Star s no doubt about it

Worst place ever! The employees stand around all shift doing nothing productive. They stole my purse from the locker and no one was helpful. The manager showed me a security tape ONLY because I called the police and in that tape we saw a MAN walking into the woman's locker room and coming out 20min after! NO ONE noticed , employees clearly don't do there job. Be careful ladies!!

Worse place to work out. It's very crowded, you have no choice but to stand around and wait for a machine to open up. So you spend more time fighting with the patrons over a machine. The place is too small for all the members that attend here! Definitely need to look into expanding.

They have free pizza every 1st of the month. The staff is super cool. The monthly payment is really affordable. They just installed new workout machines and improved all areas/rooms in December 2017. They added these really awesome metal bar constructs of various sizes and for different purposes that really give you an edge when you need to target a specific muscle. There is NO workout you can't do here.

There are plenty of cardio machines but not enough free weights. Most of the time all the dumbbells are being hoarded by one person and never are reracked. The staff do nothing to enforce any type of gym etiquette. This place is great for those short term resolutioners but if you are a serious gym goer then avoid this place.

The HP location smells too much. Employees don't clean the machines or bathrooms. It doesn't matter the time I go in, the smell is awful. I prefer going to South Gate, Inglewood, or Downey. They're much cleaner and employees greet people...

Lots of Sloppy ghetto Meatheads who don't re-rack, seems like hardly anyone carries a towel or bothers to wipe their nasty drip after they use machines, poor equipment setup and selection, old jerky machines, front desk girls almost always have rude snobby attitude (like 97% of the time) and they seem to always be lounging behind the front desk, I think I might have seen a genuine and sincere welcoming smile from one lady who checked me in one time (ONCE). So Expect a crappy automated fake reply with no eye contact when checking in.
The graveyard guys are way cool, very pleasant, smile, greet, are informative and are usually doing stuff around the gym. Gym is better organized since they don't just lounge and yap like the females do. some of the guys in the daytime seem nice and willing to answer questions as well but the girls always seem busy gossiping and annoyed with pesky members wanting to check in. Makes me wish I didn't have to even make contact with staff.
seen transients in locker room several times, too many treadmills not nuff Smith machines, no scale, limited free weights, spent water bottles everywhere during morning,il gym is usually Over crowded and it appears very few people have gym etiquette. Probably the worst gym in the southeast L.A. region.

One of worst gyms I've ever been to. It's so crammed in there. The machines are on top of each other. The machines are old. People dont put the weights back when they're done, so there are weights and Dumbbells all over the place. I saw gum stuck on one machine. It's not clean in there AT ALL. And it stinks. I was leaving one day and I saw 5 workers standing behind the desk talking.... Like the gym is a MESS why aren't they doing their job. If you can choose another location then do so. I wouldn't recommend anyone to work out here. I just joined that location two weeks ago, but I will be looking for a new gym asap.

Its clean, great customer service. There always no line when i go. Great place to do cardio, light weight weights. Great atmosphere. Always with AC. It has guest appreciation. They give pizza on certain days. I would recommend to anyone trying to work out its open almost 24 hours
