I love this gym! The staff are friendly and professional. It is always clean and not to crowded. It has everything you need to work out and to relax after: good equipment, different classes, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room. And they validate parking! What else can you ask for?

Solid place to get a climb in. It's nice to have a place in downtown to shower/work out/park.

Fun place. It's in a funky area and parking is really rough, but the layout and variety not problems is really nice.

I loved it! Very huge, challenging, but every levels can find routs.

This place is great, the members are friendly and the route setting is creative with mostly consistent grading. The best part is the management, they are super nice and always looking to help out when needed. I also climb at the Culver City location, which is just as good except has higher walls and ropes.

Super solid indoor bouldering gym. Great people and nice staff! Be careful and be mindful. Enjoy some great climbs!

First class bouldering gym.

A part of the Touchstone Climbing Gyms. Place is huge with many various challenging routes for any level climber. Well padded floors in all climbing areas. It is bouldering only so there are no ropes here. LA Boulder has locker rooms (bring your own lock) and showers, bikes, weights and some other exercise equipment. Parking can be tough at times with a small lot in front. Park in LAB marked spots and not gun club. Otherwise park against the wall facing the gym or down the street. $25 for a day pass as of July '18. Rental available for shoes and chalk. Some classes offered for climbing and yoga. Open weekdays til 10pm only until 6pm on weekends. Wish they would be open later on weekends.

Started the awesome sport of climbing here. I took the beginners bouldering class. Short class less than an hour to get you going.. Filled with smiling, friendly people. The climbing community in general is very welcoming and it's easy to become part of a unique group. Your become part of the family once you get that exhilaration of making to the top. It was easy to get hooked. Bought some shoes ASAP. Checked out other gyms. Started top rope climbing. Now I go once a week. Great exercise.

Beginners to expert can all enjoy a visit to LAB. It is highly recommended

Great facility. Bouldering, no roped routes. Equipment for rent available. Part of of the touchstone group. New routes are unleashed on Monday of each week.

Small with low top rope routes, but cozy with great people. I love the fact there are autobelays if you don't have a partner. Top rope walls are maybe 33' so it's not a marathon event. Routes are changed regularly. Good community.

Great community of respectful climbers. There's a full gym and cardio setup as well as great fitness class like yoga and bootcamp. If you're new like I was when I started then there plenty of clinics and workshops to help you learn.

I had a really good time at this place! It was my first time bouldering and rock climbing but they have a range from easy to extremely hard walls to take advantage of. Also, the staff was pretty friendly and they have good vegan snack options available. I would definitely recommend this place for a new experience and a good workout!

Great place. Took my granddaughter to climb we took the class for beginners. Bought a day pass. Everyone helpful and friendly. Overcame some height fears and climbed two walls, staff very encouraging.

Think you've got what it takes to conquer the routes because you go to the gym regularly and are in decent shape? Well put that pride away and think again! I didn't realize it initially since it was my first time bouldering, but I soon accepted that my strength was not going to be a trump card for routes beyond V3. You have to practice and master good technique and finesse to finish the harder routes. Pace yourself and take breaks because you will tire yourself out quickly in less than 2 hours if you attempt climb after climb.

This facility has something for people of all skill levels and interests. Not only are there bootcamp and yoga classes, they also have a strength training area complete with weights. Though they do not have roped climbing, they do have about 200 bouldering routes. These routes are all color coordinated with grips of all sizes and shapes. The floor is well-padded so falls for beginners like myself did not seem so bad. You should consider practicing proper landing/falling techniques that are taught in the introductory class that I did not have a chance to take.

Pricing has naturally gone up over the years. It is now $25 for weekdays after 3pm and weekends and $20 for weekdays before 3pm. Members are able to bring a friend for free through a guest pass on the 4th Friday of every month. Parking is probably the only sore spot. When you give up on looking for parking on the small lot shared with the shooting range next door, you'll find a space somewhere eventually on the street. But beware of the signs!

I went for the Thai and Fly Massage - I didn't use any amenities at the gym. It was $25 per person which is expensive just to come for the 1 hour class. I was hoping the price is worth it but it wasn't. My guest was from out of the country and agreed. The room was so transparent, we could hear everything. They placed a common area with chairs outside the makeshift room and I heard the entire conversation while trying to meditate and massage. I also was laying on the floor that constantly shook and then I heard the gun range going off next to me. To top it off the instructor did a half has session since it was only my guest and I in the room. I spun it to be a positive that it was more like a private session but her lack of passion for the class was apparent. I wouldn't go here again for this. Ever.

My home gym, and it's pretty dang awesome. I come for the ropes, although the bouldering is great as well and there is plenty of wall space. This place is pretty big relative to other gyms I've been to. Only complaint is that it gets really crowded on weeknights. Like, so crowded (especially in first few months of the year) that I won't even bother. I'll drive way out of my way to go to another Touchstone gym just to avoid the crowd. But if you go during the day in the week or in the morning on the weekends, it's a great place to climb.

Smaller bouldering gym. For what it is it's good. Chill scene. If you drive the parking lot is tiny.

This place! So great! I love that parking is available, though not always easy to grab, the staff is friendly and invested in the space, and the equipment is insanely well maintained. I've gotten really into climbing the last 4 months and this was a great place to start but still with so much more to learn since the facility is large and diverse. There are locker rooms upstairs so changing is convenient and there are even some weight and cross-training equipment so this could easily replace your standard gym membership. Just be sure to grab some lotion on your way out because those grips won't be kind to your soft, baby hands.

So fun, great workout. They're actually a gym too and have great activities for their members. Culture is very nurturing and communal. Staff is professional and experts. It's such a great mind-body exercise, and you get to be creative! Just be careful because if you don't pace yourself you'll fatigue your forearms.

Who doesn't want to go boulder in a famous Touchstone Gym and then get fancy food/drink right after? Large facility nestled in a cramped parking lot, LA.B is a climbers mistress to their local gym. With no rope in sight, the room is filled with white walls as far as the eye can see. Every style up, even with an aggressive overhang. Settings are reasonable and the top out is awesome. The other gym amenities (weight room, cardio area, bathroom) are up to standard with the gym as well. Always a drop in for me whenever Im up in the LA area.

Awesome gym. Felt that it was the best one I have been to. They have ample space and a ton of problems to choose from. They also have fun classes around 7 pm as well, like yoga. Sam's a wonderful teacher and I strongly recommend her to anyone.

Love this gym. I've climbed at 6 others and this place is just great. It's a good size with lots of bouldering problems, staff are friendly and the space is well maintained. For beginners in particular, they have very approachable V0/V1 routes, which is not always the case at other gyms.

This is my go to climbing gym. I'm here at least twice a week. I've been coming here since grand opening and it is awesome. The setting is top notch and they always rotate setting every week. Every time I go into the gym I can always count on a new section being set.

The staff is friendly and so are the locals that climb there. They have gym facilities and offer a variety of free classes for there members.

Parking is the only issue here. The gun club next store always has some dude standing guard over the parking. I get it, parking is limited but don't take it so serious.

The walls are great and they keep facilities clean. The roughest part is their hours. Opening at 11am three days a week is unacceptable in my opinion. If you're looking to get in a morning climb before work on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, look elsewhere.

Love love love this gym. Creative setters and hip crowd. Great variety of problems and very clean facilities.
