My favorite studio in LA! I have been coming here for years, and it always has a wonderful vibe. Great teachers and beautiful simple studio.

I was in LA for the last 4 months and Yogala was the BEST find. A beautiful and non intimidating space with a vast variety of styles and teachers. I learned so much about myself and my practice. I have had to move back to the UK for work and I miss this studio SOOO much. I can't find anything like it here...I'll have to come back on my next visit!

Yoga has sustained me through so many of life's challenges and sweetened so many of its rewards. It has taken me into warehouse shalas, mountainside retreats and into the heart of India. A few years ago, it brought me to Yogala. I cannot begin to express the sweetness of finding a studio to call hOMe among the madness of life in LA. The teachers here are true spiritual seekers and are gifted at sharing their calling. The studio itself is a quiet refuge in the heart of Echo Park. The classes vary in intensity and span a breadth of yoga practices, so there is a perfect class for every student. Words cannot convey the magic of this place. You'll have to check it out yourself. :)

I love this place. Very caring, dedicated and professional instructors with a variety of classes... Not the place for super fitness oriented "power yoga" or something, yogala's classes are sometimes very challenging in terms of sequence and postures but almost always have a strong element of mindfulness, mediation and a focus on well being. Probably the best $100 I spend every month in terms of overall mental health, happiness and mobility. I'm really grateful this place is in my neighborhood and I feel genuinely more relaxed and peaceful every time I go.
