I disagree with the reviews that said teachers do not help students in poses, allow you to drink water, or welcome new students. In my experience, and I have been going daily for 2 months, I'm constantly helped in poses and feel welcomed and relaxed in my practice. The instructors always let you drink water; it's only the first twenty minutes that they encourage you to wait until the water break, because you want to give your body a chance to warm up. I've never had a problem with this because I drink a liter ahead of class. Also, they do encourage you to stay in the room as a new student but they are typically kind and understanding if you really do need to leave the room because you're feeling overwhelmingly sick. They prefer you go to the bathroom before class and not be in and out, because it's distracting to other students and interrupts your own focus in the class. I find that some teachers who may not be as sympathetic, empathetic, and positive are the ones who are substituting-- for whatever reason. But the majority are very informative, open, and helpful both when you ask. If they see you're stumbling into a posture, they will always come and help you to correct your stance and give alternatives for those with back and knee injuries, pain, or general inflexibility.
