Just discovered this LA Fitness- 10,0000 times better than Glendale, totally worth the 15 minute drive not to go to the Glendale location!
These people are liars, especially Chris, the Training Sales Guy. Promised me smooth sign-up & cancellation. Sign-up was smooth. Cancellation, well straight up lied to me it'll be cancelled. They won't cancel my training.
Hands down, one of the cleanest LA Fitness locations in all of LA. I love it for how clean the gym is. It's also one of the largest LA Fitness' I've found across LA, so when you come there is always plenty of room to workout. Surprisingly, for it's size there it is never over crowded. Parking is a bit of a pain, because you really have to park and walk. But it's mostly free if you park in the garage just behind the plaza where this gym is located it's free for the first 2 hours. And I can't stress enough how clean this location is from the locker rooms to the gym equipment all the way down to the floors. Most gyms have a smell or dirty in some of the common areas but this one is well kept.
I've been coming since they were open and I have had no issues at all. I love the sauna. It's clean and spacious.
I had an incident occur with organized theft that was beyond anybody's control, and their manager was very accommodating to help me in terms of getting the security footage. They were also accommodating once when I needed to lower my membership level. I work out here multiple times a week, it's a great atmosphere, great location, great equipment, great staff, and there's also a sauna.
This gym is ok. It is very big and lots of machines. Free weight area is a disaster, however. Weights are scattered around and few benches to use. Members dont clean up or re-rack. That being said I can usually get a good workout here. You might have to improvise as it can get busy. Also, parking is only 2 hours. Good for most but not everyone.
one of the employees take sexual like photos in the bathroom, made me very uncomfortable and will not be returning due to this, very unprofessional.

The AC never works and they don't have Wi-Fi, the gym it's always full but is ok
Horrible gym... No WiFi, No pool, No towel service, bathrooms stink, No air conditions throughout the gym, weights are never reracked, dirty machiens and they charge $45/month.

It is located in nice area two steps away from Americana. Parking is not a problem at all ( except weekends). Place is big and open.
The GM Aaron B reminds me of a young Adrian Brody. He helped me apply my body oil all over for a photo shoot. A+ customer service and gentle handles. Thx again Big Tex!

Found needle paraphernalia for those moron body builders. Wish I could find a gym for people who just want to be healthy.
Most of the staff is cool but they hired sum blonde with a nasty attitude..FIRE HER please..hire someone who isnt so damn miserbale!
Ok place to workout based on the price. Really croweded at times hard to get time on certain machines. Also there is no WiFi at this location which is a bummer.

It's been almost a month with no A/C here. Even at 6AM, it's brutal. They've placed 2 fans in the entire gym- not nearly enough. This doesn't surprise me, as every LA fitness I've attended regularly takes forever to get anything repaired. You'd think something like a broken A/C during a heat wave would be a liability this company wants to correct ASAP.
Update: September 8, 2017: The AC was fixed for a short time, and now it's not working again. Still no fans set up in hot/unventilated areas. Makes me hate this place. I'm here at 6am, I can't imagine what it's like mid-day. Go somewhere else if you can.
Enjoyed my visit at this gym. Impressed at how tidy the weight room was. Plates were not laying around randomly, they were actually racked. Too bad it's too far from me. Kudos to the staff and the patrons for keeping this organized.
Though equipments and the facility is fairly new, the air condition is always out of order and trash cans are over flowing. No matter how many times you complain, they don't get it fixed once and for all!! There is one fan which is dragged between basketball court and group gym. They don't even provide additional fans!! Sars are for Raul and Griffin who teach Zumba there! They rock!
