Was drawn to this studio by killer music and edgy vibe with doors open to the DTLA streets.
Best prices in the neighborhood with frequent pack specials, super clean and very modern.
The bikes and shoes are also more comfortable than other spin studios in the area.
When I walked out of my first weekend class to wine and cheese, knew I found my 'tribe.'

Cycling and yoga classes here are great! They have plenty of evening and weekend options. The classes are expensive unless you buy them through some kind of special deal.

Cycling teacher was extremely upbeat and motivating. Great sweat.

The spinning+yoga classes are PERFECT for those looking for a great workout but not crazy about spinning.

Always good deals. Lots of classes, convenient schedule. Good location. Validate parking.

I always walk out feeling great, after the YAS class.

This is my absolute favorite Yoga studio and I miss it so much now that I no longer live in Downtown. They offer both Yoga & Spin classes for all levels. I particularly love the yoga classes and instructors who really take the time to teach you each move. Prior to going to YAS I had no idea my form was off for the downward dog. I not only get a great workout every time I go I also learn the yoga moves correctly so I don't hurt myself. They offer great packages and have amazing customer service. Parking is free next door just make sure to get validated.

Went to a class here a while back and actually left early for the first time in 20+ years of practice. These people have little idea what actual Yoga entails. The Yoga/Spinning combo is usually a dead give-away that the Yoga will be glorified stretching at best...but I was only in town for a few days and gave it a chance. Mistake...
I never had any intention of reviewing the place, but then I saw the clip of Kenny Mayne at YAS making a complete mockery of Yoga. The funny thing is that the instructor I had was probably less in tune than Kenny. I hope this review at least spares one person the time/money that I wasted at YAS!
