I have been training with Rod Miller (owner of NuFitPro) for almost a year and half and it has literally changed my life! I've never been consistent with exercise for this long. I have worked with trainers before, belonged to gyms, etc., but it has always been for a certain amount of time and then I stop.
Training with Rod has been different. I had taken one spin class maybe 14 years ago and I hated it. I swore I would never do it again. I had done a few Strength & Balance classes at NuFitPro (kind of like a boot camp class for all different levels) and liked them. I was curious about the spin classes and tried one. I was hooked! Rod is a cyclist as well and I've heard that trainers who ride, teach spin class better. He is an excellent instructor for both types of classes NuFitPros has. He makes the classes fun, plays great music and keeps it challenging and fresh. I now train between 3-5 times a week consistently. I always feel better when I go to class. Even if I'm tired - I know I'll sleep better that night if I go. I lost weight (I'm pretty petite, but a few pounds shows a lot on a small frame & I have a wicked sweet tooth & love my salty, crunchy chips too!), feel toned and just overall better than I have in years.
NuFitPro has very reasonable prices and all his clients are really nice. The location is literally down the street from my house (I can be there usually in 10-12 minutes - I live in Jane's Village in Altadena) which is another motivation for me to go. His gym is located in the People's Care Community center in Pasadena which support individuals who have developmental and intellectual disabilities. Rod also does personal training which is the next level I want to get to. He is one of the nicest human beings I have ever met and I look forward to his classes every time I go. I highly recommend his classes!!
