Okay I am by no means a Pilates aficionado... In fact most of the times I feel like a pig on roller skates, especially during Reformer time. Luckily for me I have the BEST teacher. Jen Phegley is patient, thoughtful and really knows her stuff.
I suffered an massive injury to my lower back years ago and as a result my chiropractor recommended Pilates as a way of strengthening my core. Jen Phegley is trained in injury awareness (she was also trained as an RN) so she knows just how hard to push and what exercises are the most effective.
I've done mat work and reformer with her and she's always on point. I'm happy to say, my lower back hasn't seized since I've started training with Jen Phegley... My hope is to be 100% healed and then to have that kick ass six pack.
I can't recommend Pilates With Jen highly enough. If you're a beginner, like me, you will see/feel results almost immediately. Jen Phegley is the BEST
