If you want to get in shape and learn how to box Pepe is the best. Many other workouts and classes I tried got old quick but boxing keeps me going. Its actually fun to go work out with Pepe! Even if you are a beginner. I highly reccomend him to get you in shape : )
I started training with Pepe because one of his other clients is a friend of mine and insisted that I do. Of course I heard great things but it wasn't until about the 3rd or 4th session with him that I started to see why my friend was so adament about his ability as a trainer.
Pepe has a life long history of training with the very best athletes and trainers in the world and so yeah, he has tons of wisdom, knowledge and experience. But more than that he seems to have an innate ability to grasp body function and mechanics. His teaching style is such that he gets your body and mind operating as efficient as possible.
I am still covered in sweat after every workout but I have noticed my body is under less stress and I am now 'flowing' through my workout. I have always considered myself a good athlete but this is a whole new level. This is how world class athletes train!!
Consequently my body has changed shape to a more sleak, balanced and symetrical form. I walk differently, run differently and just basic movements are more graceful. Its been a really fun transformation.
The other cool thing about training with Pepe is he knows and works with a lot of celebrities and world champion boxers and so I've been able to meet them through Pepe. If you believe in surrounding yourself with the best to be your best then
I VERY HIGHLY recommend Pepe Reilly!!
Amazing Results! I highly recommend Pepe Reilly. He is a trainer that breaks down the Sweet Science of Boxing in technical terms anyone can understand. I started training with Pepe about 3 years ago, and since then I have started to compete in amateur boxing competitions. In my first fight I competed in the World Amateur Boxing Tournanment and went all the way to the finals with Pepe's training. Our training camp was very successful. I lost 24 pounds in 7 weeks, and felt strong going into competition. We implemented cardio, plyometrics and a great diet plan. We were so sucessful that I won a belt for my weight class division at the World Boxing Tournament. His game plan and our hard working training sessions have met above and beyond the expectations I could ever imagine. Heck I won a championship belt and lost 24 pounds gaining muscle. I think that speaks for itself ! I continue to train with Pepe and compete on shows wining my matches. We work on strategies, angles, speed, footwork, defense and all other aspects to become a superb athlete. Pepe takes his time and evaluates what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong. He corrects the problem and gets you on the right track. He has a great personality which makes training fun, challenging, and worth while. He provides something new to learn each time we work together.
Highly recommended! Pepe Reilly is a great trainer and amazing person. This is NOT boxing for aerobics...although you'll get a much better aerobic workout than you will at a typical boxing class, commercial gym or personal training center. Pepe teaches the fundamentals of boxing. He'll put you through some of the same workout routines he uses on professional fighters. It is an amazing way to learn a sport and get an incredible workout at the same time. I have made enormous strides in strength, stamina, balance and technique since I started working with him over two years ago.
Best of all...Pepe works with people of all skill levels and fitness levels with no pretension...don't be intimidated if you aren't confident in your boxing skills. Pepe has clients that really care about boxing and those that are just there to get a good workout.
Do yourself a favor and give it a try. I actually look forward to these workouts each and every week.
