The gym is great, 3hr free parking. The comments below with negative rating are completely false. Don't be discourage to try it out.

So far so good! I have been a member at every gym under the sun. La fitness, 24 hour, Los Angeles Athletic Club, equinox... for the price, this Gold's gym is my favorite by far. All golds gyms that I've been to are always pretty clean and well maintained.

I live and work in the area and highly recommend both Fitness CA SoMa and my personal trainer there, Ben Kwok. I've been training with Ben for about 9 months now and I'm very happy with my progress and results! Check him out if you're looking for help with strength training, powerlifting, or just weight lifting in general.

I joined this gym after the new year and have been really happy. The manager, Lee, is awesome, and their personal training is affordable and the trainers are really knowledgeable.

I've been training with John 2x/week for about 7 months and love it! I've gotten so much stronger, lost weight, and gained confidence in moving my body in new ways. As someone who grew up dancing I never thought I would go to a personal trainer but John led me into the process gradually and is encouraging. He pushes me to work hard but I've never felt overwhelmed during a session. Highly recommend!

I've been training with John 2x/week for about 7 months and love it! I've gotten so much stronger, lost weight, and gained confidence in moving my body in new ways. Sometimes it's important to reiterate how great something is.

I've been going to John at Ultimate Health for training three times every week for over three years now. I've gotten stronger and stronger over time, constantly hitting new fitness goals. As someone who had two knee surgeries in high school, I've always had a lot of pain. Until I started with John. He got my knees so strong that last year I was able to start going to spin class, something I never thought I would be able to do. I've learned self defense in kickboxing, run faster than I ever have before from doing sprints, and am constantly impressed with how body continues to get stronger. He teaches me how to eat right, what's good and bad for my body (especially as the fitness and food "trends" change), and is constantly helping me learn how to do better.

I drive to Ultimate Health from West Hollywood and the drive is easy and well worth it. There is off-street gated parking (always a good thing in LA)! The gym has a shower for when you need it, and I love the privacy of working out in a private gym.
Since I started, I've referred so many friends and everyone has been as happy as I have.

I recommend John at Ultimate Health more now than ever before, and will continue going to him as long as I possibly can.

I first started going to Ultimate Health because I wanted to gain weight and build muscle. John created a personal plan for me that included it exercise, weight training, and a healthy diet. John is a very knowledgeable experienced trainer and takes personal interest in his clients. I am extremely happy with the results I am seeing in such a short period of time and I highly recommend him.

John is a great trainer! He makes working out fun and diversifies my workouts so it always seems fresh and new. He's taught me exercises I would normally never do at home. His gym is also very convenient for me too.

I was getting tired of the crowds at the gym, so I decided to check out Ultimate Health and I'm so glad I did. John is the best! He's super knowledgeable and keeps the workouts varied and fun. He even helped me rehab a shoulder injury. If you're considering going, I cannot recommend him enough.

John is the best trainer out there. He is very passionate about fitness and health. But, most of all he is passionate and caring about helping people to live a healthier life style.

What set him aside from the other trainers, especially in your local gyms, was he knows what he's doing and was able to explain to me the why and how it functions for all the exercises and food choices. He has years of experience and takes into consideration my age, strength and injuries, this is not to say he does not push me to work hard and feel great! His knowledge is remarkable!! He wasn't joking about contacting me outside of the sessions. He called, text, Facebook all the time to see how I was doing and keeping me accountable. He really cared to see me living a healthier lifestyle. I don't see that with many trainers. Most trainers I see only talk to their clients during the sessions and nothing more.

John has been in the Universal City location for years training people of all ages. John is a very caring and fun person that walks the walk of exercising himself and eating well.

If you are looking to get in better shape and learn how to be healthier, John in your guy/trainer...you will not be disappointed.
