Great place to train no-gi jiu jitsu! Jared is a phenomenal instructor, no ego, plenty of patience, and is a great mentor to all of his students. Moreover, great training partners too! Although I've trained at other places, some better than others, 10th Planet Burbank's approach really had me retain what they were teaching and had me build on what I already knew. PLENTY of drilling! Everyday I left having learned something new or refined some other aspect of a particular technique.
I've been looking for a good jiu jitsu place for a very long time and I've found the best place. Coach Alder is a brown belt in 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu under Eddie Bravo and is the head instructor at Burbank. Your Jiu Jitsu game will greatly improve. Aside from learning every technique in detail it's a lot of fun. The environment is really friendly and there are no egos there. If you want to learn you will learn. It's by far one of the cleanest gyms I've been too. Aside from Jiu Jitsu there is a great kids program - and the only 10th Planet Kid's program as well. Also they have Kickboxing and MMA. The best part is I lost 30lbs in just 4 months and I haven't even changed my diet!!!
