Brick is one of the best, if not the best gyms I have ever been to. Here is what makes it so great:
Facilities: Brick has amazing facilities. There are 4 rooms at Brick for different classes and always room for some open gym time. The equipment is great, and Brick is always looking to add the newest and best stuff. There are 4-5 showers/changing rooms and 4 bathrooms with multiple stalls. Brick provides razors, shampoo, deodorant, towels, hair ties, gum etc. It's really awesome. This is the nicest crossfit gym I have ever been to, and they keep it very clean. There is also plenty of parking in the lot, a lot across the street and in the neighborhood close by.
Classes: There are classes pretty much all day and so many to choose from. I usually attend CrossFit, Barbell Club and Gymanstics, all which have made me stronger than I have ever been. Brick also offers B/X which is CrossFit-esque minus the Olympic weightlifting and gymnastics. It is also an amazing class that gives you an insanely good workout. They also offer yoga and kickboxing among other classes. All free with an unlimited gym membership.
Coaches: I have never had such good coaches. All of the coaches are experienced, know what they are talking about, and want you to succeed. Whether it is getting your first pull-up, or your first muscle-up, they will help you get there. They are truly fantastic, and world-class. And overall amazing people. Definitely one of the highlights of Brick.
Community: I have met some of my favorite people in LA here. Brick is always hosting fun events and really fosters the community aspect of the gym. Going here is a great way to make new friends and meet incredible people.
I love this gym, and I drive from Santa Monica to West Hollywood at rush hour everyday bc I could never give up the coaching and friendships that Brick has given me. If you want to get in great shape and meet awesome people I highly recommend this gym.
