I would have given this gym 5 stars if their customer service was better and if they were attentive to the clients. The gym and workout was superb. its a shame because I really enjoyed the class and would have signed up for a membership if their customer service wasnt lacking as badly as it is. The staff is very bitchy and feels a need to put you in your place. I am from the East Coast so that doesnt work for me.
I have to admit, I used to be a cardio queen but for the past 3 years i've been into crossfit. My friend convinced my to try a class at sweat garage and i was a little weary because of all the cardio but little to my surprise i fell in love with the class and go addicted. I also loved the coach and there were a ton of weighted exercises incorporated in the workout as well so I was very happy.
The reason why I tried a new gym is because mine closed and I was used to the really intense classes. There are a lot of gyms in the area catering to my friends and I. Offering us free classes or one week complimentary pass and discounts on the memberships but sweat garage didnt offer any of that and I was a little upset that I had to pay $25 for one class when other gyms were giving us 1 free class. again, I did it and to my surprise it was a kick ass workout.
When you buy one class you get one free but the catch is that you have 6 days only to use it. The thing is is that I travel 2-3 times a month so that didnt work for me because I would miss my cutoff. I asked the staff if they would be gracious enough to honor my extension and havent heard back that was 5 days ago. so clearly customer service is lacking and they were very rude to me trying to put me in my place. I tried to be as nice as possiible but i am a little weary of signing up if im already having trouble signing up for one class. What if the worst case scenario is that I have to cancel my membership. I could only imagine the grief they would cause me.
