Gorgeous location. Definitely beats anything we have in NYC
Please do not choose this gym if you aren't already top notch. It is an extremely unwelcoming, cold and uncomfortable place for beginners. Majority of the crowd is there to show off /compare gym outfits.
You'll be judged and critiqued harshly by the crowd.

A bit pricey but Im a big fan of the Equinox brand. I like that its not as crowded as other gyms. I like the amenities that they offer. Most people come for the classes. The instructors are better than your typical instructors at gyms. Equinox tends to be a bit cleaner with better equipment.
Again, a bit pricey but some times you pay a bit more for a slighting grander experience.
This is the best gym I have been to. Huge range of high quality equipment - well maintained too. Staff all friendly and engaging. Locker rooms always clean and tidy, plus Kiehls products! Yes it gets busy but being so large I didn't have any issues. If I were local I would definitely be a member.

I was a member for half a year. The gym is one of the best in the area. Fully equipped with the latest machines. However, everyone found out how good it is and it packed 24/7. Morning and nights, there is literally a line to shower and to use the equipments. The reason of the three stars is clear to see that the management is caring about quantity and not quality.

Equipment is in great condition, facility is clean and organized, the crowd can be arrogant because it is in Hollywood with some legit and most attempting stars. The staff is hit and miss except for one guy who is too busy to treat people as humans it's a good place to listen to music, have shakes to drink, and mingle with fun party people, gay friendly, occassionally. Enjoy.

I have been a member for the last couple years. I used to go to the Beverly Hills location. Recently I moved (not far though) and I swithed to west Hollywood location. The crowd is less Beverly and younger people and I kind of like it. Yoga class is bigger here but sometimes is still to packed. The pool is missing at the both locations.

I don't think the music playlist has changed in 3 years
I came in to Equinox West Hollywood with my friend the other day who is a member and used one of his guest passes to try out the gym because I was considering joining. The manager Michael who signed me in was very abrasive and condescending when getting my information when I was simply trying to cooperate with him. After being granted access I really enjoyed the facility and emenities but I still can't get past the unwarm welcome I experienced when being checked in. Because of this I plan on checking out other equinox locations in the area.

I think it's great that people come here to look at other people work out, it frees up a lot of the machines.
Opening hours are terrible, especially for a gym that costs triple as much as any other gym membership. For over 200$/month, I'd expect them to at least be open til 11 every night.
One star for being run by a pack of intolerant racists who kicked a black member out for being black
If you want a membership at a club that cares about you, sign up elsewhere. Buyer beware. Membership advisor Jenna Richner is deceitful and dishonest and will say anything to get your plastic into her hand. Assistant Manager James Wood personally doesn't mind that his employees run a dishonest business and cares much more that their quotas are being met rather than making sure their clients are continuously satisfied.
