Wow. Did this place just rub me the wrong way. Specifically, the manager Jose. I went there inquiring about a membership since they are opening in a few days. I met one of the sales associates who gave me a tour of the place. Small free weight section but super convenient to my house. I asked him how much a membership was and he told me $1 enrollment and $19.99 A month. I said, let's do it. We went outside, got the paperwork and he then excused himself to talk to someone else (the manager Jose). After a few minutes of hushed conversation, the manager walked over and said, "Hey bro. He's new. Memberships are $29.99 a month, but I'll give it to you for the family price of $24.99." When I asked him how in the span of a few minutes a membership can go from $19.99 to $29.99 (not including his "family discount), the manager asked another sales associate standing behind him, "Hey. How much are memberships?" Mind you, he asked this while staring straight at me and without even turning around. The other sales associate says, "$29.99" I said thanks but no thanks and left. First of all, I don't appreciate being called "bro." Super unprofessional. I am not your "bro." I am a potential client for your gym. Second, when I asked about how a membership price could be so different from what I was just quoted, you don't have to ask another associate what the price was to confirm what you were saying. And the way you did it (staring at me and asking the associate behind you) was super aggressive. Needless to say, it left a bad taste in my mouth. The funny thing is, I would have totally joined for the $24.99 you were saying since that was what I was expecting to pay. But your unprofessional attitude with me completely turned me off. Thanks, but no thanks. P.S: When I asked the manager his name after I said I wasn't interested in a membership, he told me "Jay." Something told me he was lying about his name. I went back in and asked another associate what the managers name was and he told me "Jose" not "Jay." Nice way to start a business.
