Been a member for a month now and I love it. Great facilities. Swimming pool is awesome. Staff is friendly. Can't ask for a better gym for the price.
I did a lot of research deciding which pilates school (Balanced Body) I wanted to go through. Then I had to do more research to find which studio and teacher I wanted to learn from. I'm so glad I chose Bodyline and Maria. She is generous, genuine, approachable and beyond knowledgable. She also has the ability to teach in a way that is easy to comprehend and if I don't understand a concept or topic she'll stop, think about it and rephrase it in a way so that I can. That's a rare gift.
In addition, the staff (Nicky especially) are also so helpful and incredibly kind.
I only wish I lived closer so I could come to her studio and classes every week!
Bodyline is the paradigm of Pilates. The owner, Maria Leone is excellent at verbal cues to ensure proper alignment during routines. Maria also understands the importance of modifications based on each clients personal goals to prevent injury and to increase strength, flexibility and most importantly body awareness. This is the best studio in LA and the only place I will take reformer sessions.
I found Bodyline Pilates studio through my wife who told me how much she loves it. I'm really glad I took her recommendation and tried it, the studio is great! All the instructors are really knowledgeable and helpful. Maria gives such detailed instruction that you are really get the most out of every exercise. Very fun and challenging workout!
Maria has been a patient of mine for years. Only over the past year has she convinced me to take her pilates teacher certification course, which would enhance my practice. I didn't realize how professional and well taught her certification courses are. Not only was I highly impressed but the certification course I took have allowed me to further help my patients. Her 20 years as a teacher training is evident in her teaching style and over all excellence of her class. If you are a chiropractor, dancer, fitness professional and are looking to enhance your pilates knowledge, I couldn't recommend bodyline and Maria anymore...she and her staff are amazing.
I came to this studio as a new Pilates student, and the staff was absolutely wonderful! I had obviously never used a reformer machine before, I let my instructor Petia know, and she was so helpful throughout the whole class. I never felt lost or like I couldn't ask a question. The receptionist was great, she made sure I was in the right class for me and made sure I was completely educated about how everything was supposed to go. The prices are so reasonable, especially for the quality of service provided. I met the owner Maria while I was in, she made sure to introduce herself and welcome me to the studio.
Bodyline Pilates is not only great for beginners, I have been coming for several weeks now and have moved up to more advanced classes. They are equal parts challenging and fun!
The staff members and Maria are so personable, helpful and inviting, and to top it off they offer free valet parking...in Beverly Hills! I can't recommend this Pilates and fitness studio enough!
Amazing studio!!! Other studios I have been at were very cramped and I didn't feel the staff was as experienced. There is a very good vibe at Bodyline and the teachers all seem incredibly knowledgeable. Very easy to park which is important to me because I am very tight with my schedule. I have had bad back pain for quite a few years and even had surgery at some point which didn't seem to help. I've used a few different trainers at the studio and they all seem to ask great questions and do what I need to help me and not hurt me. I have see tremendous improvement since I started there; I highly recommend!!

Maria is a teacher's teacher and I highly recommend her teacher training program for anyone who truly wants an enriching, authentic and supported learning experience. All of the group instructors here are top notch - not like at other studios where you need to go out of your way to make sure you get into the "right" instructor's class. You're in good hands no matter what time you drop in. I've done all my private sessions with Petia, a fantastic teacher who gave me a strong foundation to start with. Definitely a 5 star business.
