Love the Gym
No ventilation!!!! I don't know about anyone else but I need some air when working out. Too hot inside the work out room! Very cramped work out room. I mean you are shoulder to shoulder with the person on the next treadmil over. The locker room floor is always sopping wet. WIFI is not very reliable.
The YMCA in my opinion is a good place to be with kids and the family .they have a program for all the family Star with swimming lessons.. soccer.. hockey.. karate.. and different sports ..they have a program for seniors, and for young adults .. they offering a childcare that starts with the ages of 3months to 10 years.
Terrible RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE Mario TREATs PEOPLE OF COLOR LIKE THey HAVE A TAIL ON THEY SPEAK TO YOU WITH LITTLE OR NO RESPECT AND CREATE ISSUES AND CONFLICT WHEN REQUESTING FINANCIAL SERVICES THEY BROADCAST YOUR PRIVATE BUSINESS IN A PUBLIC MANNER ALL OVER THE FRONT DESK IN FRONT OF SRAFF AND MEMBERS. I brought this to a couple managers attention all they offered was an UN sincere apology and nothing concrete to make up for the bad treatment...

Ballet and tap class with Miss Emily is great. She's wonderful. Amazing with the little kids. She's lots of fun. My two little girls have enjoyed her class we have signed up again. Thank you!
Great place. Very nice staff. Good facilities. Please mop the floor before the yoga classes. It's different with your other classes; we are in the floor!
YMCA around LA is hit and miss. Hollywood, NoHo and DT are all great. Others like Culver have less and/or poorer quality facilities. One of the things that annoys me most about YMCAs in general is that often swim classes just take up hours out of a day where the pool can't be used by paying patrons that want to swim. This is one of the main features I go to a Y for! Culver city also is having removations right now so I couldn't even get a shower on my way through. I hear 24 fitness is the latest thing these days. Similar price and better facilities apparently. Oh, and they are open 24 hrs. Sorry guys, you've been good but I'm out.
The smell is awful and facilities are meager. The public high school is better equipped. Very disappointing.
Quaint and Lovable. The Best Damn Classes for an Amazing Price. Honestly, I wasn't expecting this place to be THIS PHENOMENAL. The instructors at this local Y will blow you away. And the people (staff and members) are energetic, fit, fun, and welcoming. They have something here for everyone in the family (yes, classes for kids!) and if you don't have one, you'll fit right in too. The Spin, Hiphop , Zumba and Ashtanga yoga classes are the best ones around. SImply amazing programming and result driven and fun instructors. They are currently remodeling this Culver Palms charm to have new and improved locker rooms and pool area facilities. If you can give up paying top dollar for the fancy flash or the next hip thing, you won't regret making this facility your home gym. And, and, and, you will see the fitness results too. Many members have transformed before everyone's eyes. I haven't looked back since.

Amazing staff from the front desk Brianna and Natalie are so helpful and friendly. My two little girls Bella and Jessie love their swimming instructors. Thank you Darrin, Arthur, Ruth and Chloe. You all rock!!! I'm so thankful and pleased.
