Nice location , huge parking lot, good variety of workout equipment, friendly and professional staff! Swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. No towel service but Overall, good place to workout!
Jacuzzi could be very therapeutic for people, if it is well maintained in terms of cleanliness and overall rating. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi in la fitness off of victory blvd is not clean at all. The rim and edges of Jacuzzi are crusted with fungus and molds .you can see the actual slim and Algae all the time.
Friendly staff. Nice facilities. The pool was closed during my visit though.
Nice place to start exercising , beautiful building and it has swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. I recommend this place if you want to work out.
Decent gym, it has an indoor track. Not the cleanest but not the worst either. It gets the job done
Often Overcrowded. Getting a trade mill is very hard between 6 and 9 pm on the week days.
On the bright side, the club is open until 10pm on the weekends.
Takes management too long to fix the equipment when it goes broken.

Very nice gym it gets packed but timing is everything. Go at the right time and you will be able to use the machines. They have plenty but I have never had a problem with machines not working.

There are always cardio machines available, an indoor track on the second level, indoor pool I have yet to try, and decent machines/weights, and easy parking. I come around 5 to 5:30 after work and I like it better than sepulveda.
This place is usually crowded in the evenings. Best work out time is early mornings.
Over all good .. parking a bit hard.. but not so bad.
If we talking on victory sucks ass. Duck heads for employees except the one kid tall blonde and actually picks up trash and has no qualms about it he works very hard . Ohh also the cleaning guy is very nice and is always cool. Other then that place can suck my butt
Just came in talk to a personal trainer price was a little high but they were willing to bring it down where was reasonable they do however need to do better maintenance on the equipment because I don't want to work out in someone else's sweat
Horrible staff, dishonest, and deceitful. Do not sign up with LA Fitness at this location. My girlfriend and I went to sign up together last month, and the sales rep named max told us that we would pay $100 for the initiation fee and $50 a month. However, we looked at our banks statements at the end of the month and he had charged us another $150. We thought it was a mistake but after calling max (may I mention he was rude and unprofessional) he told me in another words that he basically scammed us and that no refund would be issued. All we wanted was to start working out and getting healthy, and now we don't feel like being part of a company that would cheat their customers out of money for their personal gain. We are canceling our membership and we hope that no one else gets scammed by max or any other sales rep that works there.
I go here cause its near my home, not as clean as you'd like it to be. Alot of people don't clean after themselves, and the employees dont clean During downtime like other at locations . They have a track which is awesome.
The nice things about this place is that it has lots of equipment. If you have a workout and you need equipment, this place will offer you all the tools needed to execute. Free weights, racks, machines, cable systems, you name it--it's all there.
BUT. This gym gets super crowded. The only times you can come in and get a somewhat uncrowded, peaceful experience is between 12 and 3 pm. Not to dis at this gym in particular, most other gyms in the area are overcrowded too. Nevertheless it can be a problem.
If you come during peak hours expect to be cruising around the parking lot giving YOUR FOOT a good workout, and once you do park and walk inside you will be pressed to get your work the way you planned because all the machines will be busy. You'd have to improvise and adjust your work out based on what is available to use.
If you think you will be ok with overcrowding (especially if you go to the gym to meet people and socialize) this gym is good. Well maintained, lots of equipment, professional staff. If not, you best look for another gym.
Place has good share of equipment but the front desk staff really really needs to up their game. Always rude not paying attention when you check in shine the red beam in your eyes while on the phone when you check in. You come in to escape negative things not get it. Sales folks were nice..but of course.. they want your business too bad thats where the customer service ends. Other LA fitnesses way better service. This one really really is lacking.
I go here pretty much every day. Overall clean and friendly environment. I wish there were more machines, sometimes this branch is very packed and I never get to do my workout they way I wanted, because all the machines are very busy.
Compared to the other LA Fitness Gyms in the area this one is fairly large and somewhat well maintained. The machines look newish and the place is kept fairly clean. So far my main gripe about this place is how packed it gets, how the other patrons don't restack the weights and how the staff seems to ignore maintenance requests.
Now I don't mean to nitpick but when it comes to the water that people drink I think maybe replacing the filter should be done right away. Especially when the machine itself is blinking red and telling you it needs maintenance. Even more so when I bring it to your attention twice in over a 2 month period only to be given the response of "I'll make a note of it"
But hey, it's not like dirty water can get you sick or anything right?
Other than that the place has a everything you need. It even has a mini track that you can run laps on.
This is my favorite LA Fitness in LA. It's huge and airy, the ceilings are high, the temperature is pleasant. They have a very good selection of machines and weights. Parking is free and always available. My only issue is that they're missing some equipment, like handles for the cable crossovers and stoppers for barbells.
I saw someone in this place with a service dog. A raggedy service dog. This man rubbed on his dog and then all over the workout equipment. It was gross. The mens bathroom here is gross too. Super gross. Id give this place a lower rating but some of the things going on here, the staff can do nothing about. Like the fact that this place used to be a ballys, so it automatically terrible. Im also sure the staff can only do SO MUCH about the grossness of the bathroom and locker room. I honestly think they manage it as much as they possibly can. You can take that how you want to, but it is what it is. This isnt the worst LA Fitness I've ever been to though. However, its not far from the most bad-est-er.
This location has definitely upped its game since the recent renovations. Nice pool although a little small and almost always crowded. The lockers are nicely refurbished ,and pretty ,but the toilet area in the ladies is, like many LA Fitness, less than well
maintained. .
Customer service, has improved tremendously. The front desk is always warm and welcoming
and the staff, generally happy to help.The
cardio area has undergone an overhaul and been replaced with a ton of excellent machines, most with personal monitors and awesome options. All in all I say,."Not bad, La Fitness, not bad!"
Great gym with a super friendly staff! They offer all kinds of equipment plus indoor pool, and track! Gym is all so kept nice and clean for the amount of people that visit each day.
