I've been practicing ashtanga here for almost 2 months, after 5+ years of regular "mainstream" studio bikram & hatha. My practice at the shala is the first time I've felt I am doing actual yoga and not a competitive, vapid workout. The energy shifts and positive effects have been felt in every area of my life. Pranidhi is an exceptional guide and the space and community she has cultivated is sacred, accepting and supportive. I am so grateful I started my ashtanga journey with YSW and recommend it to anyone looking to do the same.

Taking a moment to recommend a wonderful yoga studio. Every instructor is a little different, knowledgeable, caring, kind. They do a great job of explaining poses and helping correct your form. How long have I been doing Warrior 1 wrong?! Nice variety in Shala Flow. Wonderful connection to breath and intention. Beautiful space to practice, warm, friendly environment.

As I open the doors at Yoga Shala West, I feel the harmony of this special location. People will always be received with a warm welcome and a smile from Nina and Pranidhi in which they will make you feel just like at home.

I love this place. It's always somewhat of a challenge to find a good studio to practice Mysore Ashtanga yoga and I am so happy Pranidhi is building a business committed to yoga values and community. Highly recommended.
