We have gone to several gyms and one that is very notable within this area, but after being at a gym for over a year and still didn't see an improvement and seeing kids shuffled in and out I decided as a parent to try a new gym out. My daughter started in beginner gymnastics and was quickly moved up at the Hyht gym. After all she did have a few years under her belt, and she was placed in intermediate classes, but due to her age was then asked to attend tops. She has excelled immensely in gymnastics, but not without hard work and determination. She isn't by all means perfect. Every child develops in different ways, some it takes 3 seconds for them to get it, and others like my daughter takes a very long time. When I meet a parent who is new to the the sport I tell them your child isn't going to be perfect instantly it takes work. Don't give up and take a break, they will eventually get it. The coaches from my experience has been positive. They teach every child even my daughter who was in preschool gym and now hot shots (she's 4) is being taught what each position is called. The coaches can only go so far in teaching at each level, but it's the consistency that you want for them. Once they get the core foundations of stretching, their splits, and especially their handstands they can achieve more goals later in. In every gym we have been to these are the core fundamentals. You would think it takes a few seconds, or just a few days for them to learn this, but it doesn't. As stated before every child is different. I have both children in this gym now and am very pleased with their customer service and coaching abilities. I like that this is a family owned business and the coaches are personable with every client. If there is a need to be met they will meet it. They are small and the classes are small that your child is by left behind to fend for themselves. They are dedicated to see the best in your child.
