They're so helpful! As someone who has never visited a spinning class, they definitely made me feel comfortable during my first 2 spinning sessions.
At the time, they were offering a Groupon special. Before I actually purchased anything, I was really hoping to try out a class. Luckily they offer 2 free classes for any new visitors and they also provided free spin shoe rentals on both visits. The location has free lockers available, restrooms, changing room, and a shower room. The classes get extremely loud, so don't forget to pick up ear plugs before you enter the classroom. They have them available behind the check in counter.
The classes are about 50 minutes. If you need any help with setting up your bike or locking your shoes onto the bike, there is always someone there to help. Both classes were extremely energetic! Throughout the class you're rarely seated on the bike, but you're more than welcome to take a seat if you get exhausted. There was no pressure whatsoever! During both classes we did some type of arm and ab workout while spinning. At the end of the classes you do a final stretch and get a very moist towel with a very refreshing scent to it.
The only thing to keep in mind is some classes might be warmer than others. My first instructor turned on the AC about 25 minutes into the class, while the second instructor did not turn it on at all. The class was still fresh and we were definitely sweating a lot more, but definitely keep that in mind. No need to bring a sweat towel, they provide some for you. If you don't own a pair of spin shoes, you can rent some for $2.
Definitely check them out!
