I found this place via a livingsocial I purchased. I have always wanted to try the Pilates reformer classes. I cannot say enough good things about this place!! Evelyn and Kelly are great instructors. I have yet to take Christine's class, but she is very nice as well. I noticed slight changes after the first few sessions and by session 10 wow! My abs feel strong my legs feel great. I have a shoulder neck issue I have been seeking PT for and with pilates has felt better. Great place friendly and caring staff mindful or body movement and control.

I've been taking Pilates at Balance and Grace for about a year now, and I LOVE it. Christine and Kelly are really what make his place special. A group class feels like a personal session, because they give so much attention to everyone in the class. They really care that everyone in the class pushes themselves to be stronger and better. I could not recommend Balance and Grace more highly!

Christine is a wonderful pilates instructor. Pilates was originally designed as a rehabilitation program for injured soldiers after the first world war, and became very popular with injured dances. So, a great Pilates instructor will be knowledgeable about injuries and will be able to modify the basics, work with the client to help improve function and motivate and encourage. Christine is all of that and more! She is a wonderful wonderful person. I was seriously injured in an auto accident and have been practicing Pilates in order to improve my function, reduce my pain and keep my aging body moving. She asks the right questions, has a million ideas and, when my shoulders and neck are acting up, she is quick to change her plan to accommodate my aches and pain. She is a talented Pilates instructor. If you are struggling with an injury, I highly recommend. I've been to several Pilates studios and have tried lots of instructors. Most of them can instruct a class in the basics of footwork, feet in straps, etc, but very few can work with a client with injuries and help improve the function and quality of life. Love Christine. Love Balance and Grace Pilates.

Christine is fabulous! I have an injured L4 and coming to Balance and Grace has helped me both build my core strength as well as my flexibility. The classes are small enough that the instructors are able to give personalized attention that has all aligned with what I was taught about my body when in physical therapy. And besides all of that Christine and her crew are simply good people!

!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!

My love for Pilates is 100% due to Christine at Balance & Grace Pilates. She is attentive, focused on proper form, gives great directions and you get the most amazing workout each & every time. In over 1 year of taking Pilates with Christine twice per week, she has never done the same workout twice. Always mixing up the session from the reformer, to the Cadillac, to the wunda chair, to the ladder barrel - she makes sure your session is always different & challenging.

Christine obviously has vast knowledge of Pilates & human anatomy and constantly corrects your form to prevent injury and allow each client to get the most from each class. She is fun, motivating & pretty much all around amazing.

Since I started my Pilates sessions with Christine, my back pain has gone away. Plus my core is much stronger, which helps me at work. In addition, I've lost unwanted weight and the definition in my arms makes me feel so much better about myself.

Located in a charming vintage building in downtown Glendora, the studio is absolutely beautiful, spacious and the equipment is top notch.

Whether you're a novice or a seasoned fan of Pilates, I highly recommend everyone try a session with Christine at Balance & Grace Pilates. I'm so glad that I loved myself enough call & take that first step. Thank you Christine, you're a rock star!!!

I've been going to Balance & Grace Pilates for almost four months and absolutely LOVE it! Every class is unique, challenging, and fun. Christine has a masterful eye to catch even the slightest errors and is quick to correct your form...and always with an explanation of what was wrong and how to fix it. Her knowledge of the body and its physiology is amazing! I signed up for one month initially and haven't stopped since!
