This la fitness, is just what you make it you could never afford all these machines, weights, pool, spa.ect. or a place to keep them. Good deal for me,

I am completely disappointed and disgusted with LA FITNESS and the corporation as a whole. I set up a year of training sessions and at the time everything was fine. Sign the paperwork, something about canceling, but don't worry.....yeah right.... if you DON'T cancel in WRITING, they will continue to charge your account, even though your year and your contract is supposedly over. Who, please God, who remembers that there's a caveat about having to cancel after your training is done? After a year??? And try to get a refund. Good lord, I contacted them in early July, still not rectified. The district manager only wants to refund me 1 of the 2 months, even though I texted the previous trainer manager in early June. So they want to keep $350. Not chump change.
I think it's time to go viral.
This is probably the nicest LA Fitness I've been in. They have a lot of updated equipment, pool, basketball court, and 5 glass racquetball courts. Chic!
Double charged us for a month of personal training and then refused to pay back the amount they over charged. Insane.

This newly renovated LA fitness is now very nice. The new locker rooms are very nice and the whole gym is kept very clean. The $30 a month membership is worth it for just the jaccuzi and sauna alone.

Sales person bamed alex needs to be trained about customer service. You cannot just leave the person you are talking to then talk to another person. Espacially the person you are talking to is ar your table. Very poor
Don't waste your time with the incompetence and disrespect at this place.
I came in two hours before closing with a guest pass and was told I needed to activate it before I could work out. However, I was turned away because they didn't have any staff working who could activate the pass. I was told to come back before 9:00. I did so the following week and waited nearly an hour and a half before just leaving. When I spoke with a manager about my experience he told me it was my fault for coming in the evening, despite the fact that I came within the time frame they had told me the previous week. He was rude and completely unapologetic for wasting over an hour of my time.
Not to mention that since the day my friend sent me the guest pass, I have received a phone call from LA fitness every day about activating the pass.
Needless to say I will not be returning,and my friend is cancelling her membership.

Just love working out at this gym especially when they have a great instructor. It's such a high!
Came in with a guest pass to try the place, made me wait 30 minutes because pass need to be activated. Completely disrespectful to my schedule. Want to meet me, schedule me a time, don't make me waste 30 minutes on a workday.

I love the gym because it is close to my home. I also like the instructors. The modifications that were done for improvement and appearances are alright. My main reason for going to the gym is to upgrade my physical condition (stroke survivor). The gym has suited my purpose and the equipment is sufficient.
Some places are good, but I've been to some places that are in need of a makeover. The worse one is in Montclair.
Decent gym, most of the staff are friendly. I go there around 10 am because it is empty during that time.

I came in July 18 2017 at approximately 930 am there was a sun blonde hair lady and this Latina woman at the service lobby desk and I had a 3 day pass and they asked for an ID nowhere in the pass does it say but anyways I had a pic of my id on my phone and the asshole person was this guy standing in the back of the lobby desk Latino dude dark skin black hair wanna be comb back but he had no style said I couldn't come in even if I had a pic of my id. I didn't want to say I was a member already but wanted to see how they treat people in general very ghetto and not well mannered the only reason that place is still standing is because the staff in the afternoons/Evenings but I would recommend everyone to go to LA Fitness off of Garvey in West Covina if you want to be treated equal and get better service for your money. The restrooms are outside in a rented tent BS so gross and dirty and you have to walk around to get to them and the equipment was so old and outdated. Worst Service EVER Worst Place to workout.
Newly remodeled and looking good! Nicer than Gold's Gym Hollywood now. Tons of cardio machines, elegant locker rooms, pilates studio coming soon. Wow.
Honestly I got an interview to work here as a Janitor and the guy "training" me was listening to music with headphones on. Like seriously if you want me to take this as seriously has the person interviewing me is presenting. You should give me your attention 100% cause its only an hour of your time.
