Love being there I enjoy my workout for many reasons clean place very friendly employees always welcoming gorge is super professional Enrique the manager as well always on top on his duties simply all of are wonderful staff highly recommended place for a fun workout keep it up
Love my gym! Always clean and never have to wait for a machine.
I like Planet Fitness because it fits my budget. There is tanning and massage bed,and chairs. Totally Body Enhancement is a great machine, it helps you tone up and clears up skin blemishes. Honestly, it's the only gym "Planet Fitness" that has the "Total Body Enhancement". Thank you too for keeping clean. Again friendly costumer service
This gym is clean and has alot to offer such as; hydromassage, tanning beds, massage chairs and more! Although I wish they had a swimming pool or Jacuzzi. So far the employees have been very helpful and friendly. It's well located next to Kristina's Natural Market. It really does seem judgement free as well.
Not usually too busy, up to date equipment, plenty of machines. Clean, friendly, and convenient.
This Planet Fitness is always clean, and the staff is friendly. When I go, it is usually pretty empty with a lot of machines open, but I do go late at night like at 10 pm so I don't know how full it is during the day.

Need more work out machines unfortunately. And pretty warm in there. But overall, a great place for us to work out.

I'll start out by saying that I've been a member of this gym for over two years, that being said, there has been a growing trend of nepotism and judgement. Today my wife and I were working out performing a light HIIT workout when a small man casually walked into the area that we were using where he started to stretch. He watched us workout then started to signal to Donnell (the staff member) to come over to him so they could talk. They pointed at us and began to laugh at us, then the the two seperated and Donnell proceeded to walk over to one of the other female staff members where they too began to converse and smile at us. My wife was fed up with it so she waved at them which prompted Donnell to come over to us and inform us that we couldn't work out by the window with kettlebells. We informed him that we weren't facing the window and there was nothing stating that we couldn't do that and he told us that it didn't matter we simply couldn't. My wife confronted him about whether or not this was about the small man and Donnell said it was that he said something and that he (Donnell) wasn't watching otherwise he would've stopped us earlier. When I told him that I was cancelling my membership, Donnell began to get passive aggressive and asked whether or not this was "just because I asked me to move?" To which I replied "sure." This isn't the first time another member was friends with the staff and convinced them to confront and put out another gym patron, but it is the first and last time I'll allow that to happen so blatantly in front of my wife and I. I apologize for the lengthy review: WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
Love their water fountain station to refill your water. It looks so huge from outside.
Honestly the best gym in Fresno is probably GB3, but Planet Fitness is not that bad considering it is a third of the price. If you only plan to go to one location, choose the cheaper plan. The upgraded plan isn't worth it.

Planet Fitness is the best they have the beauty enhancement treatments, HydroMassage beds, massage chairs as well as tanning along with a full gym all for$21.99
Okay the regular staff is nice certainly but Jessica suffers from severe "smug". Jessica, you're a gym manager so get over yourself, you're rude to the staff and customers., Place is clean, and equipment is fine. What's wrong? Wifi is a joke, off and on constantly, on both my devices, (so yes it's your wifi equipment or bandwidth provider), so please fix it. Music: not everyone that works out here is under 30, top 40 constantly, and loud. I'd settle just for the wifi to work. Update: week 4 wifi still not steady and there's only 11 people here. Please fix.
My two favorite things: They are 24 hours every day of the week, and their most expensive membership option is still less expensive than a standard membership at most other gyms. This includes benefits that other gyms don't offer, like being able to bring a friend with me for free unlimited times and tanning. I was a member at GB3 and canceled because their only "24" gym wasn't 24 hours every day of the week. I need to be able to go to the gym during odd hours and PF offers that and everything else that I want/need for a workout, plus luxuries that no other gyms can offer.
It's all workout. Equipment, and some free weights. Run, bike, stairwalk, core, legs, arms, and such all there for you to use. Affordable on a budget and their hydro massage bed is awesome!
Pros: Probably the most economical gym in town. I'm coming from a place of having abandoned my athleticism to history & can't really get a full value from a more serious-gym with serious-fee. I managed to get in during a $10 monthly, single location, promotion (comes to about 13.50/mo annually) which is an absolute deal. The staff does make rounds to keep the place clean and wipe down headrests which is more than can be said for many establishments. It's open 24-hrs. Allows use of massage chairs & tanning (hydrotherapy machine i think?) for the $30 monthly which is still low.
Cons: Severely limited free-weights. Way too much floor-space dedicated to cardio machines. Minimal staff & minimal classes/instruction if you're into that.
Other thoughts: Let's get this out in front - cardio is overrated. Planet Fitness has plastered themselves with the motto, "Judgement free zone" & "No gymtimidation." Fine - whatever, if that marketing works for you; but it has translated into an operational philosophy that has dedicated the majority of their floor-space to treadmills & elliptical machines and completely minimized the amount of scary free-weights because, I guess, they're too gymtimidating.
The target audience is primarily a weight-loss crowd & the fact is that those individuals would be far better served by one, weekly, 30 minute high intensity weight routine, than trying to put an hour on the treadmill most of the days of the week. Muscle growth raises the resting metabolic rate, that's where the real calorie burning adds up - the treadmill "burn" calculators are just the gamification of an estimate to make users think they're accomplishing something.
Now, whether or not you agree that most cardio is mostly a waste of time for maximizing your benefit from time spent in a gym; after 5 weeks of attendance I've never seen more than half the cardio machines in use while all the free weight benches & Smith-cages develop waits. Even with the gym & membership slant towards cardio-grind; the cardio machines are never more than half occupied and the free-weight sections develop traffic jams.
I'd give Planet Fitness 5 stars if it cut the cardio machines by 40%, rearranged the cable lifting machines to take up less space, and doubled the free-weight area & gave members some barbell cages where the barbells had free range of motion (weren't on vertical rails). But, alas, perhaps that would attract "lunks" (PF has anti-"lunk" propaganda).
the Bottom Line: Planet Fitness is a good deal if you need a place to start. If you've been weight training continuously for roughly 1+ years you probably will be better suited to a different gym.
This gym is so clean. I legit sorta feel bad for the employees because it seems like they're always cleaning and at other gyms they just kick back behind a counter talking or zoning out on their cell phone. This place is nonstop being cleaned in one way or another. The equipment is also more modern than the "other" affordable gym in town. They cater more to privacy in the locker rooms than other gyms I've been to as well. It's a very good place to work out and not feel like you're being judged. If you're looking for free weights, this place isn't for you. It seems less focused on body building here and more a place to get into(or back into) shape.

This place is kept quite clean and the staff are nice. Most of the clientele are fat and old people pretending to work out or using machines improperly (doing ego lifts and locking joints). At least most of the visitors just use the cardio machines and stay out of the way of people who actually want to improve. The free weights don't go very high for liability reasons (no more than 60lbs) and there are no squat racks or barbells you can load with weights, just Smith machines with the bar at an unhelpful angle. I've enjoyed coming here as a beginner, but probably need to move on to a serious gym.
I love planet fitness. It's clean and friendly. I am a guest on my bfs plan and I will get a plan on my own now^¬^
I feel comfortable working out here... I really like the 30 min workout room, just wish they monitored it like they're supposed to to minimize people just jumping in and getting on machines they could find outside the room. Other than that.. Thumbs up from us.
The 30 minute circuit section gets really hot by late afternoon on most days. Even the main section can get warm which van be very uncomfortable. Gym should set the ac to a lower temp when it gets busier. Also, the water faucet can be room temp by late afternoon as well.
It is a nice low pressure gym. They have the standard basic gym equipment, several weight machines and a couple free weight sets. I didn't have any idea what i was doing at a gym (always worked out outdoors before an injury) but they have an instructor on hand most of the day on weekdays who helps you out. You even get a personalized free workout plan if you sign up for it too.
Great membership prices, clean, inviting atmosphere. Well maintained equipment. Friendly staff and eager to help.
My favorite place to go and get a judgement free workout and a good massage after.
