Incompetent staff. I canceled my membership in writing with "PROOF OF SEVICE" in October and they never canceled it and continued charging me! Stopped by in November and was told the cancellation was done electronically. Continued to get charged. Stopped by yesterday and the assistant manager said she had no record of my trying to cancel and that there is no way they made a mistake. Then she said She would not cancel my membership because of outstanding balance and I dont have a carbon copy of their cancellation form. Um HELLO I didn't have an outstanding balance when I mailed my cancellation letter! And YES mailing a letter is one of the options!!! So NO I wouldnt have a copy of the form unless they sent it which they didnt! If they lost my letter that's on them. I DID my part. Im filing a complaint with BBB right now. I want thoes fees waived and all charges to stop Immidiately!!!! and my membership canceled already.

Convenient location and good machines but customer service is awful, they treat their clients terribly. Here are two examples that happened this year:
1- Sometime before June, Planet Fitness staff let a thief get inside with a membership card from another location. This person broke into the lockers of many of us. I got my backpack stolen with my belongings inside, another client got the car keys stolen, and the car too. As of today we still haven't received any official updates or apologies about this incident.
2-In June, while I going to the gym I've got attacked by two guys in the parking lot and my wrist got fractured. After having two operations to fix it, I went to the gym to ask them to pause my membership until I recovered (4 months said the surgeon) but the manager of the gym denied my request telling me it was mandatory for me to give them a written statement by the doctor. - "I can see you just had surgery on your wrist, but you must bring a doctor's note" the manager told me.

I love this gym! Tons of equipment to use. They care about cleanliness. There are a whole row of TV s you can plug earphones into the equipment and watch and listen. But you can only hear if the equipment is in use, so you can't get lazy and just watch. Very clever!

Good for hamster machines, if you actually weight train It'll be tough but doable. They need Olympic sets and racks, dumbbells only get to 75# and THE kettle bell is only 30#. They only want you to do cardio and watch tv here

very unprofessional personnel on this location, and unsafe, they broke into my truck the other day when I was at the gym and stole my phone, I told them I wanted to downgrade my account as I was going to attend that often anymore, they said they couldn't help me and they were going to charge me to downgrade. they don't seem to care for you members, it's all about your money. very unprofessional and indifferent to any issues you might face with this gym.

Highly recommend Traning with Paula she is awesome. Nice bathrooms and awesome machines. They need to update the water fountain like the Barstow location.

Just joined yesterday. Garrett signed me up and gave me a tour with an explanation of all the equipment and what they have to offer. Great customer service. I also met Corrine (sp)..very nice. Today I finished up my membership and met Jasmine, very nice as well. I'm looking forward to a great experience each visit. Thank you ..you made an over weight almost 60 yr old lady feel comfortable.

Great gym! I appreciate that employees are always cleaning and the place is spotless. Lack of free weights is a little disappointing, but plenty of machines and Smith racks to get the job done. Would be nice to have a water bottle station...I hate fountains and filling a bottle from them.

I was having a great experience with the equipment and the location and the employees until Christmas Eve the sign said closed at 3 I came in at 2 and at 2:30 I was told that we're closing right now I felt like that was unfair to have the sign and I called in the day before to find out that they weren't closing until 3 and all I got was oh I'm sorry sir. So I wasn't able to finish my hydro massage only gave me half the time and didn't get to use the massage chair.

Good equipment. Fine place to work out for $10 monthly. But darkly decorated -- a bit of a depressing atmosphere for me.

Love the place usually go late in the day when no ones around. Wish it was bigger maybe a pool for the Summer... Overall great place

I love it!!! The hydro massage tables alone make it worth the black card membership fees. It's huge and they have a lot of state of the art equipment. They even have TV's to watch in front of each treadmill. It's open 24/7 which is super convenient for night owls. I should've joined years ago.

Love this PF. Very comfortable with all the staff. Extremely helpful, clean, and community oriented. Great pump without disruption every time I walk through the door. My favorite place to workout after work.

Just went to a Planet Fitness in Fresno, CA for the second time tonight! Was in there for less than an hour and my bike got stolen. The lady at the front counter said she didn't notice. Even though she's ten feet away, and the bike rack is clearly visible through the giant glass windows that make up the front of the place. She also told me there wasn't a security camera pointed at the bike rack. ??? She offered me a half-hearted "sorry that happened" and allowed me to write a letter to be left for management to see later on. Though the security guard for the parking lot center did tell me that I should have had a better bike lock! So that helped me want to kill myself... Because that was my transportation to & from work. Gone without anyone giving a care. Basically saying it's my fault for trusting in the security & competency of the staff at hand. But if the area is that bad, then why can't the gym invest is some wall-mounted bike racks inside the actual building? It'd show that they actually care about the property of their patrons. That they're actively involved in preventing theft with everything available to them. Rather than just "oh, sorry that happened. We might follow up on it later with you. Try to have a better lock next time & you might not lose your property." All-in-all terrible experience. I don't know if I ever want to go back.

I always come as a guest with my fiance. Have never had a bad experience! The machines are clean and well taken care of and the staff is friendly.

This gym was just openned at the beginning of 2017, and it has great equipment, friendly employees, good classes, and it is a very clean facility. Shout out to the afternoon trainer Gerardo! He's awesome. I highly recommend Planet Fitness for anyone who wants classes (or not), great service, and low payments. (No more than $20 a month for their best plan.)
