The associates have been running the business with little direction and insufficient funds to maintain the maintenance. It should be no surprise it is closing. One can't take away the kindness of person's running the front desk and their talented well trained instructors. We the members are very saddened to lose such a great group.
Locker-room/bathroom smells so bad that you almost throw up. I change in my car and absolutely refuse to go into the bathroom. Would rather go to the bathroom in my pants.
AC doesn't work, equipment isn't maintained, and the place is never cleaned. Any complaints get brushed off by the staff and I have tried emailing corporate, but get no response.
Sad to see this place in the state it is in as it would only take a little bit of care to make it a decent gym. I hope that they turn this place around soon or I will be looking to go to a different gym. Would not currently recommend to anyone to sign up here.

If I can give negative star i would. Staff are so rude. Called today to ask if Childcare was open, have not even got to say hello the staff just said "we close at 11" then hung up. I called back to say it was rude to hang up on someone and didn't even apologize. Prior to this, I was attending this location and my son was never supervised at the childcare. My son was punched 3 times I notified the staff and didn't do anything. Last time I was there my son went home with a swollen eyes and the childcare attendant never pays attention to any kids.

Would give it a 5 but the childcare lady doesn't do her job and let a child and his father bully my child. Not to mention shed very rude and gives attitude. She's clearly not qualified for this job.

It was fine when I first started going 3 years ago but it went downhill. Most of the equipment is broken & old. Zumba instructors are great though.
Ok...here we go a gym is a place where you go to workout and get your self out of whatever funk your in..when I go in there my goal is to go in there and destroy my body and make sure I leave every ounce of sweat in there..with that being said I seen a lot of bad reviews before I signed up and like always I said heyyyy sounds like a good time...and it has been...everything I need is in that gym thats a for sure...people complaining about ac issues...I wouldn't mind if they cranked up the heat...makes my workouts more intense but because of the residents who occupy the gym...meaning some of the older occupants I don't mind whatever it is they do...I would recommend having like a day where the gym stays at a high temp and I mean like 80 or so....I wouldn't mind anything no higher than 92 degrees...1 day a week to give those who are looking for that to enjoy it...a gym will be a gym...as long as we clean up and rack our weights whose to say it's not doing its job...they clean and after a workout we should clean our own machines...people your there to workout not be baby sat clean and rack your own weights..with all that being said people who work there are great...they greet me in and out of the gym...if I don't bother them they won't bother me...that's a gym...if I need help I'll ask they'll do what they can....what else do you need? WITH THAT BEING SAID MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THIS....OWNER OF THE BUSINESS DO ME A FAVOR AND ADD SOME STUFF TO THE WALLS INTHE WEIGHT ROOM...AMERICAN FLAG CALIFORNIA STATE FLAG AND THE BRANCHES OF THE SERVICE WHO DEFEND THIS COUNTRY....what people fail to realize is its a honor to be able to complain or support a business because of those people...so all though it's not needed it's greatly appreciated if that could be done but not needed...it's pure motivation to some of us...Staff keep up the good work. And no I do not work for these people...just passionate about my gym time.
I like the set up, the weights and options, and the class schedule. My trainer is awesome and I have not gotten hassled or bothered while working out. The pool is small but perfect. The day care area is fine. I like the music and the general vibe of doing your own thing.
This is not a place full of pretty posing people. Much more about lots of body types and people working hard.

Plenty of equipment, water fountains and not usually crowded. The equipment seems kind of outdated and usually a lot of the cardio machines are out of order, but there are enough to just use another one.
Love the staff, very affordable. Great childcare and very clean environment. They have great machines for all your workouts.
The childcare is a bit rough switched to gb3 with friendly staff in childcare that are very attentive. Gym has most all the equipment you would need it's not the cleanest.
2 and half stars really. The gym is old but ok. Clean all equipment before you sit on it or you may get athletes foot on your butt. Dont go in the locker room if you can avoid it. Pro is its not too busy like other gyms, cons are its gross and ghetto. Staff seems ok. Treads and stationary bikes are cheap and often dont work.

Soo I walked in and the Manager greeted me! Ralph was very informative and knew what he was talking about and even got me pumped up about working out! I love it here since I've joined! He runs a great gym!!! Thanks Ralph! 1/8/18 Update! Ralph is no longer at this gym! He was a great manager he worked very hard! Sucks without him, I'm leaving and going elsewhere! Not the same!
I been coming here for a couple years, the environment and the staff are always friendly and positive greeting every single member that walks in and they know you by name they always communicate and build friendships with their members! The manager Ralph runs this place great no complaints. The instructors for the classes are very professional and go at your pace not to mention the trainers I've trained with Leo He's very patient and knowledgeable. The prices are affordable and include great amenities! Like free daycare, classes and tanning! I definitely recommend this place!
I have been going to this gym for over 10 years now and I love taking classes ( spinning specifically) with coach Tamara. She is a great motivator and fantastic at what she does. The facility doesn't have new equipments like many other places do however the people who work there make it very welcoming and they are helpful. It's one of the reasons why I am still here. Annie
This gym is an excellent place to work out! I've been coming here for years. Very cheap affordable rates. I am very please with the service given by the employees. The manager Ralph Ortega is very friendly and helps you with anything you need. I would recommend this gym to friends and family any day of the week. I give it 5 stars because I have a blast every time I come to workout at Blast and I'm sure you will too.

Great place to get a good work out. Staff are way cool and friendly. Great selection of classes. Weight room and cardio room awsome. Old facility and some work needs to be done. Otherwise a great place to work out.

Definitely cannot match the price for what I'm paying for at this gym! For everything that it has to offer its a good spot to come in and work out. If you're looking for a solid gym to train and gain results for a very good price this is the place. At the end of the day a gym is a place where your going to come in break a sweat and train hard getting the physique you want. I come in to train with that goal in mind to let little specs of the gym bother me.
Hey Guys! I've been working out here since I turned 18, the best part about this place is... The members! I learned to workout over the years here with the help of the trainers or people I now call family! Don't Be afraid to ask for help or even a cheaper membership rate! Customer service is really great here if you have a problem with anything the staff will put they're heads together and figure out a solution! Go check it out!
