For little kids, this is not an awesome gym. The coach we saw expected our almost 3 to behave like a experienced 5 on the day we *visited*. We're much happier at another local gym.
This large gym boasts a wide array of equipment for both girls AND boys gymnastics. There is a nice upstairs loft viewing area as well as bleachers for parents to sit and watch their kids. They have programs for kids at every level from toddler to teen, recreational to competitive team. There aren't too many gyms in the east bay that offer excellent training for both boys and girls who want to compete. Several gymnasts here won State Champion titles last season. My son has so much fun here and he has gotten so strong! The gym also has a Sport Aerobic program and a separately-owned weight lifting/personal training facility within. They also have some unique programs that I haven't seen at other gyms, such as signing gymnastics for deaf children, and special needs gymnastics.
