Love that you can go to any LA Fitness and the employees are every friendly and helpful. I just love workout there
I was in the area and learned that this gym was recently renovated. They did a pretty good job w/the renovations. It's spacious and of course, clean.
This place is a gym...been a member for over 10 years. This one has recently changed the layout which is ok but they removed a free weight squat machine and only have 2 now and any given day the wait to use them is over 30 mins. Please add more free weight squat racks. Only reason sti come here is because it's close to my home.
Love the place! Has a great size basketball court, a lot of work out equipment, along with TV'S to watch while working out! There is also a nice clean, cold water fountain where you can refiill your water bottle or water ever container you have!
The sales staff is very efficient at signing you up. Especially for training. Then when they get your bank account number LOOK OUT!!! I've been charged double on my account for 3 months. I've talked with so many people including billing and they said it's a computer system error. "WE cannot control our computer system"; this is what I've been told by each and every person I've come in contact with regarding this double billing. Very unfortunate.
I wish the hours were more flexible on weekends. By that I mean, the same as the rest of the week. Gets crowded but is very clean and great to workout in.

Walked in and signed up for a membership, it was so easy and the manager Cisco was very helpful and made sure to answer all the questions I had. Team members all were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this facility!

Great gym, new equipment. Unfortunately it's been 3 weeks that the AC in the racquetball courts does not work. Makes it hard to breathe in there because of how muggy it is. They need to improve their maintenance on the AC. Other than that staff is nice and helpful. Great atmosphere.
Update: AC in the racquetball courts have been fixed! I have raised my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars.

Nice new floors and some newer equipment. I like the upgrades and it's pretty clean.

I'm a member at Chuze Fitness. I've been a month to month member with them for over 2 years I joined LA Fitness for convenience closer to me. I regret it but I'm going to go for my next two months to cover my down payment. Prices are higher at LA Fitness. They're not as clean as Chuze Fitness. There door greeters are horrible. Looks like they always having a bad day. Do not get that at the other gym the only thing that LA Fitness has going for them is that they have a Smoothie Bar. I recommend everybody to go visit Chuze Fitness before you make any decisions. They get a 10 plus on clean germ-free period lasting choose also has double the equipment
Well recently they did a remodel of the facility, worst remodel ever it appears they focused on removing the carpeting from kids play center and it is now a dangerous play area for kids. Also instead of making improvements to areas that needed it such as bathrooms and locker rooms which are disgusting, they decided to repaint walls and put laminate flooring in the main workout areas. I'll post some pictures of the mens locker room shortly.
You walk up to the front desk and the girls are either on there phone or don't even make eye contact. Do they think they are too good with there minimum wage job?. You walk out and the same thing. Never acknowledged. If your curious who they are it's usually the ones that are there after 8pm. So if you are reading this I suggest you get over yourself.
Been a regular here since 2010. The improvement of this gym is significant and noteworthy. When I was first coming here, robberies were common, that is no longer the case and patrols regularly make their rounds. The machines are regularly maintenenced and also they are relatively new. Weights are round, except the dumbells for easy deadlifts without accidentally hitting your chins like in hex weights. The environment is definetly more diverse but also less organized, weight are everywhere and having a set routine is laughable at this gym, just come in with a general workout you want to do and workout around it; since this gym does get packed it's also good to have that in mind. Gendered saunas. Tons of classes. Staff has a quick turnover so if you have a good or bad experience they will quit, be relocated or fired before you know it. My largest complaint here is the toilet section only has one vent, so the scents there are fresh. Locker room is seperated so it isn't a big problem. Pool, jacuzzi, elliptical, all the gym essentials.
Club is cool...but it sucks for racquetballers. Plus, I think it completely sucks that you guys are damn near charging a whole other membership, just to be able to reserve a court. When it was 5 bucks that was reasonable. And what happened to court 1 being strictly a "challenge" court? Why did that change? Let the competitors compete. Fontana L.A. Fitness used to be a good club for racquetball, but it's wack now. Oh yeah, maintenance sucks and it takes forever to fix anything. And refinish your court floors.
Trash everywhere, candy wrapper, tissues in the cup holders..gross!! Too many patrons linger around watching others instead of working out on their own,they seemed lost all the time.. staff are so cocky, not once made eye contact with u inside nor greet u when u come in or leave the building! Is it because it's in a small town??! It's too slow, everything, everyone... Im glad im out!

I've been going to this gym for years and I've seen different managers come and go. There's been drama with things and thefts in the parking lot, but then things will get better and they'll have a cop come sit in the parking lot. All in all, it's fine for the $30/month. They keep things decently clean, except in the restrooms, but that's not the fault of the cleaning staff - people are pigs.
Most of the workers in the Kid's Club are friendly and decently interactive with the children.
Broken machines are fixed fairly quickly. They have a good amount of treadmills and ellipticals.
They have a shortage of good instructors (I really like Christy), but I hear that that is a common problem.
In conclusion, it's super close to my house, $30/month, and I have a bunch of friends there or I would have looked elsewhere a long time ago.
Nice facility, but waaaay too many broken machines! I have seen a "service scheduled" sign on at least 3 of the same machines for the past 2 months. The manager is rude and made me take a picture when I had gone for 2 years without taking a picture (instead of letting me take it next time I came in). The girls at reception are airheads. I just go, get my workout on, and leave.
Very crowded...machines are not wiped off properly...staff are inattentive and hound you to sign up for extras....
This gym is horrible!!! The customer service is super poor walked in with my baby today a few minutes after they closed the kids club apparently..which i paid for the FULL MONTH for the girl in the front to laugh at me when i asked if they were still open! What a waste of money signing up with this GYM THIS IS THE 2ND time I've came an they are closed!!!! Sunday they close early like WHY people don't work out or what so pathetic im very unhappy with this gym!! Not to mention the dirty womans restroom!

I've been to several of the LA Fitness locations.
From the locations that haven't been renovated, this is one of the best.
It's had some things updated but not the equipment.
If they update the equipment and improve cleanliness, this will be a top LA Fitness gym.
when I first started with them they talked me into getting a personal trainer. I agreed thinking it would help n it was only for a few months. Well things went horrible the first few months and the times I did meet with the personal trainer she was always on her phone texting. She just basically told me to do what exercise, how many reps for how many times while she just kept texting. I let it go at first and the third time I just cancelled it. I also had a membership for the kids club and when I took my daughter the very first time, after my workout, she would not let go of me on the way home. She just kept hugging me. I thought it was odd because she loves that kind of surrounding. I can never workout more than an hour because they claim she was always crying. One day I went to workout, dropped my daughter off, I waited around until I knew she was good. The two workers were sitting on the floor talking. I figured my daughter was good. She was playing and having fun on the slides. After 45 min in my workout I thought to go check on her. I peeked In the door and saw my daughter crying hysterically by the door/gate in the front entrance while the two workers were still sitting their ass' on the exact same spot I left them in. I walked in and one of the workers got up n said she was just about to call me. I said why did you call right when she started crying, n they said she just started. I asked why is she crying, n they said they don't know why, they tried asking her what's wrong, but my daughter didn't respond. Remind you MY DAUGHTER WAS ONLY 1 YR OLD ALMOST 2YRS at that time. I was livid. Made a complaint and they said they would tAke care of it. I figured it won't happen again and I went to workout and I get a call saying my daughter was crying. I seen moms drop their kids off even when they were crying but it looked like the workers knew them personally. I should pay $62 a month just to work out for less than an hour, childcare THAT DONT CARE, and a gym who's just hungry for money. I've attempted to cancel my membership many times and they always made an excuse that I have to come back. I have been with them almost a year and only went for a few months. Even though I've tried canceling they keep giving me excuses that I have to come back. I have been going to ChuzeFitness for about a couple months and let me tell you. I have had NOT ONE complaint about them. They are open 24 hrs, they have a sauna, steam room, massaging and tanning services included in the package and all for just $20 a month. They also have childcare services that I e heard nothing but good things about them. I recently went in today to cancel my membership AGAIN with LA fitness which is what they told me over the phone and when I went In they told me to come back in an hour because there is only one person who does the cancelling. Out of ALL the workers, only ONE person is able to cancel memberships. Smh horrible gym. DO NOT GO THERE! ALL THE FRONT DESK GIRLS HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Don't waste your money!

I've been attending this gym for 3 years now it was "great" at first because I wouldn't go daily but for a year now I've been going everyday and it seems like they don't keep up with machines 3 of 4 stair steppers were out for 2 weeks,that is a long time for daily persons that use it every other day. Usually if one paper towel station is out ALL of them are out including the machine sanitizer. Yet they continue to want to enroll more people WHICH is fine but first take care of your current clients or you might lose them.
