I frequently call this hotel home during my travels to San Francisco. Courteous staff, the fire pit is pretty awesome, and the rooms are pretty nice. I recommend it.. Rooms are clean but smaller in size.... more
I love Iyengar Yoga! I love the high level of instruction to be had at The Institute! Soooo many good teachers, try and study with them all! Athena Pappas, Brian Hogencamp, Jackie Nett, Kathy Alief, Sachiko Willis, etc, etc!! I also especially love coming to workshops!
I live in Oakland now so I take classes at Adeline but I always come when I can for the workshops! 3 hours of detailed instructions.... more
Mission Cliffs is an interesting mix of old school and new school. There's a spin studio, sauna, modern clean locker room, modern holds, routes actually get re-set. The walls themselves remind me of rock climbing indoors in the 90s, and pieces of colored tape are even left on the walls from that era.... more

This studio is so welcoming and inviting, and the instructors take immense pride in their work. The ambiance is very zen and warm, and there are so many classes to choose from. Restorative classes are there for the days you just need to stretch and relax, and power classes are there for the days you want to work.... more
24 hour fitness in other parts of the country seem consistently better than SF clubs. The only two calf exercise machines have been broken for over a month with out of order signs on them.... more
