Pretty decent place, friendly stuff and members !
Good size. Well-designed good separation between cardio machines and weight machines. Nice little turf area, locker rooms and showers are good but not amazing.
The staff is incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful when you have questions or need a helping hand. The patrons can be pretty great and friendly as well. Plenty of amenities and tough to beat the membership cost.
Avoid at all cost!! Continues to charge my bank account after my husband and myself have continually called to cancel! I have canceled this account now for about five times and I've even received a confirmation and today they charged my bank!!! I had pulled out all my cash two days prior so now not only was I charged but now I have an overdraft charge and an additional charge from Chuze due to no funds!! Called AGAIN and lady says only manager can help and they are there Monday through Friday and leaves at 2pm. How convenient. I called my bank and asked they dispute this charge and that they refuse Chuze from pulling funds. I have literally dealt with this issue for months and I'm so sick of it!! Get it together Chuze and if you value business STOP charging accounts after cancellations. Do yourself a favor and go to planet fitness or another gym that values customers.
Great people work here unfortunately I did leave this gym for a larger gym that was open better hours I hope in the future you will be open later than 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday I think that would really help but you guys are all awesome people keep up the good work

I truly love Chuze fitness! For $20 a month, I can bring a friend each time, and I have access to unlimited tanning, hydro-massage, and infrared sauna, as well as visit ant location. The hours (at Escondido location) are generally convenient for when I want to work out, the staff is friendly, and the facility is generally clean. My only complaint is some of the machines seem they could use a little maintenance or greasing - a few or the machines seem a little "janky" or loose. Usually plenty of parking. Can get crowded, but I've never had to wait for a machine or shower during my am or pm visits.

Came in from out of town and just needed a one day workout. No pressure at all from Payton or Jayden, both really personable and accommodating. Did not try to hard sell me anything just made my one visit fantastic. Thx Chuze Fittness!

Such nice people, and it's great when it's not busy. The only issue I have is that it's cold. I know that sounds weird, but when you start to sweat, it can be uncomfortable near the back. Still, I'm so glad I made the commitment, and as a commitaphobe, this is a big step for me! I choose Chuze!
I was a member at 24 Fitness for years and I've been to several LA Fitness and Gold's Gyms around the country. This is by far the best fitness club I've been to. The staff are very positive and always there to help you out without hesitation. The facilities are the cleanest I've ever seen in any gym. The only downside is that there are no barbells. They have smith machines that rotate vertically and horizontally and everything else you could possibly need to get a decent workout. If you are looking to get huge, this is not your gym. If you're sick of being injured or your goals are every other category, this gym has what you need. Tanning beds and individual saunas are awesome.

Manager Jayden goes above and beyond to make sure all members are happy with the gym. I have even seen him greet many individuals by name! Overall can't beat this value and quality.

It's a pleasure to work out there, but they only have one apparatus that is any good for doing bench pressing and it's usually in high demand. They put in two other machines that they say are used for that purpose as well but they are not. They are squat machines. The sad part is is that people don't use those two squat machines and they use the one that is best for doing benching and so you have people waiting to do benches and squats on the one machine where they used to have three. Other than that the people are just awesome the place is clean there are Smiles everywhere except on that one machine.
Chuze Fitness Escondido has been absolutely fantastic! The staff - especially Raul, Victoria, and Payton - are truly wonderful people who care about the gym and its patrons. The facilities are always clean and, so long as you don't go at peak times, the gym is fairly open. I've never waited more than a minute to use a machine or bench and all the members are really cognizant about taking care of the equipment and wiping down.
My wife used to work out here for a while when we lived in the area a few years ago.We took up bike riding instead.
Friendly staff, classes, circuit training, lots of elliptical and treadmills, exercise machines and free weight, modernized changing rooms with lockers, sauna sunbedsetc. Very clean and never smelly.
