I could not have been more impressed and driven for a first class with Orange Theory Fitness. Coach Cole provided an amazing workout with just enough support, motivation, and attention to form while I was on my weights and the rower, while also leaving you to challenge yourself. Manger Cole goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and feel like you are apart of a great community. The sales associates are excellent and do such an amazing job at remembering everyones names. I'm just sad I didn't check it out sooner!
I hate the gym. I don't like pain. I was in a gym rhythm once in my life TEN (yes ten) years ago. Life happened. Shoulder surgery, had a second baby, business owner, etc. To say I'm busy is an understatement. I came to the point where I didn't like to take pictures anymore so I needed a change. I began with weight watchers because no physical gym punishment there. Lost 25 lbs with that and then plateaued. I still had plenty to lose but I KNEW I reached the point where I had to add the physical part in. I listen to Sarah Jake's Roberts podcast regularly and she always mentioned OTF. So I signed up for a free class. I threw up LOL. I ended up signing up because even though I went to the gym 10 years ago I never did anything other than cardio classes because they tell you what to do. OTF coaches tell you what to do and after managing a business and having to tell everyone else what to do, my brain doesn't want to think anymore. TELL ME what to do works for me. I like that they help with modifications or helping with how to do it right.
My second class? I threw up again. I realized I was drinking too much water. Tip: sip.
I remained in a plateau even with going to OTF for two months but I just broke though! I knew it was working but that number was stubborn. I know it's not about the scale...blah blah blah...but I have numbers that can budge and I wanna see it move!
I've enjoyed all interactions with all the staff and visited Natomas last week and can definitely say I enjoy my HOME gym. I like the set up better and it doesn't feel cramped.
I orginally planned on only having the unlimited membership for 2 month until I went to Hawaii, but guess who signed up for classes on VACATION? YUP this girl. This is not like me at all but somehow I manage to average about 4 visits a week. Works for me! Oh and I don't throw up anymore.
5 star workout, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Helpful front staff and very friendly!! Definitely recommend!
Appreciate the coach's motivation and positivity without being overbearing. Also, love the sense of accomplishment in seeing my post-workout results.
I love OTF Elk Grove!! Amazing workouts, staff, and environment! Addicting to say the least.
OTF pushes me to see and experience new possibilities that I thought were beyond my grasp or abilities. I work out harder and perform at a higher level because of the Base-Push-All Out coaching. Club-wide challenges (Marathon Month, Transformation Challenge, etc.) help me breakthrough physical and mental plateaus. Lies like "I will never be this weight" or "I will never have a body like this" are broken down when you have a community encouraging you, keeping you accountable, and running alongside of you in solidarity. The OTF model also promotes body confusion. You can't get into a rut when the workouts are always varied and changing.

It's different every time! I love seeing my numbers on the screen, because it helps motivate me and I can keep tabs on my progress. I appreciate the guided, fast-paced workouts and know that I'll get a great workout each and every visit.

I like Orange Theory because I do my cardio and weight training in an hour. The workouts are always different and challenging.
Great workout. It's fun and the staff is very friendly. Very motivating experience
The staff to coaches are very friendly and welcoming. The energy is amazing! Ashley is the best coach, she is consistently checking in on how you are doing and giving encouragement.
I love the energy this place brings and being pushed to the absolute max during each workout
Amazing place! They have just about anything you'd need to keep your body in excellent condition.
If you're interested in great body and muscle workout than orange theory fitness fits your needs.
Location : it's located in the trader Joe's complex.
Staffs: friendly and energetic. I personally had Sydney as my trainer and she was great. She kept pushing us to burn those extra calories. Although the class was full she managed to keep an eye on me and another new student on our posture and taught us how to do the correct method.
Exercise: the class rotates on different machine. You do treadmill, cycling, floor with other squats and etc exercise. You can see your heart rate on the monitor and can compete with other people in the room. It was my first day in the room, I was huffing and puffing. I was trying my best to listen to the instructions, exercise and concentrate to do the exercise correctly. That was enough multi tasking in one class.
I would highly recommend people that want accountability. This group offers it.
Reason for not giving five star, I went on a Friday afternoon. I had already registered online for the class. The front desk lady wouldn't let me take the class. She wanted to reenter my name and deleted my previous profile. She said, there is a duplicate in the system. I told her that I wanted to exercise, she said no come back next time. I'll sign you up for the next weekend class.
I told her that my first class is the free one. She said this class is about to start but it's small of six people only. I was thinking in my head then perfect. But according to her, no it was not the perfect timing. This was the end of the day class.
The business will lose customers with the front desk person.
I like that the workout is scripted and intense. I won't do this on my own so it's nice that Orange Theory does it for me. I also really appreciate the positive encoragement from the coaches. If Fidel hadn't taken the time to learn my name and recognize my hard work, I would not be as dedicated to Orange Theory.
