I started training with Melissa in June 2010 based on a strong recommendation from a friend. I was impressed with Melissa's education, training, experience, and credentials as well as her understanding of body mechanics. She tailors workouts based on your needs. I had osteoporosis and sciatic pain and both conditions have improved sigificantly since I started working out with Melissa. Not only that but I have gone from a size 10 to a size 6 and lost the 25 pounds I gained in menopause in less than six months! I've read extensively on the effects of aging and what to do to minimize those effects. What I read consistently was to exercise at least one hour a day, six days a week. Based on that, I workout three days a week with Melissa and do other exercises the other three days. I have found being accountable to another person as well as myself has kept me motivated. Melissa regularly changes my routine and has added exercises that previously I would have shied away from, felt intimated by or would have avoided, since I'm not the athletic or exercise type. I now do those exercises with confidence! If you have the good fortune to hire a personal trainer, you will be impressed with the improvements you will gain having Melissa as your trainer. She has a positive attitude, our sessions are fun, and the time goes by quickly.
