Grant is an amazing person and coach!
I am a powerlifter from Brazil and met him at a Starting Strength Seminar. After that, I went to Strength Co. and he welcomed me, let me watch a few classes, answered my questions and even gave me coffee and a t-shirt! Also, his gym has a great system and all the equipment needed to be healthier and stronger!
Highly recommend!
I went to the Strength Co while visiting from out of town for a one on one session with Grant. If you are looking to improve your lifting technique or you are just getting started with lifting Grant is the guy you need. He is a very professional coach and also very personable. Thanks Grant!
Grant is an awesome coach. Helped me fine tune some of the details that were getting tricky at heavy weight. I got a ton of great input and details that will help me add weight to the bar and not get hurt. I'd recommend Strength Co 100%. Thanks!
After hurting myself for years doing Crossfit, I decided it was time to hit the reset button and start working on form and technique over speed and volume. I couldn't be happier. Grant and his coaches are all credentialed experts, masters of movement and excellent at making cue suggestions on-the-fly that help the athlete make minor corrections for maximum results. Another plus, the small gym size means 1:1 coaching of every rep for every athlete in the gym. It's like having a personal trainer three times a week, for half the price. Highly recommended.
This is a fantastic strength training gym I dropped in while visiting from out town. The owner and crew were awesome. Look forward to visiting again.
I have been a member since October 2017. Everything about Grant Broggi and his gym; The Strength Co is a Class Act! I was new to Barbell weight lifting and from day one Grant had me at the "Intro" . I soon realized not only are we getting stronger every week but it's truly an entire body workout while being coached along the way to make sure our form and technique are spot on!. The coaches are AMAZING; organized, experienced, smart, encouraging, motivating and strong AF!
And the best part about The Strength Co are all of the members; they are super cool, friendly, supportive and fun to workout with. I wouldn't go to any other gym but this one!!! Grant, Dylan, Michael & Niki.........ROCK!

Cool little private gym, with some pretty cool trainers. Just be aware of their practice of automatic recurring monthly charges.
Here was my experience.
I reached out to this gym to get some coaching on my lifts. In response I was instructed to go to their website, sign up for an account, and schedule an appointment. A credit card was required.
I had seen a different ssc a few years back in LA and their was no account sign up required or anything like that. With that coach I made an appointment through email and showed up to the appointment cash in hand. The strength co, however, is involved in the practice of automatic monthly recurring charges. Remember, I only wanted one private session.
Long story short, I was charged for membership fees for 2 months after my session. I was able to stop this on the 3rd from happening by switching my credit card to a prepaid card that had no money on it.
My advice would be this. If you want to sign up to a monthly gym this isn't a bad one at all, a bit expensive but not unreasonable.
If you only want a private session, this is also not a bad gym for that either, just don't sign up for an account on their website. Refuse to give any credit card info and instead just tell the staff you only deal in cash.
Another option would be, if you have one, only provide a prepaid card. The gym can continue charging that card if they like, but they wont get anything from it if you haven't loaded any money on it.

I've been going to The Strength Co. since November. I was barbell training a little before that, but as a beginner, I knew I needed a coach to help me. Since training with Grant I have seen significant improvements in my strength and form. Grant is a Starting Strength coach and is very knowledgeable. The classes at Strength Co. are small (they have 7 power racks) so everyone gets individualized training. Grant also takes the time after class to review my training program and diet, which is super helpful! Initially I was a little nervous to start going to a barbell gym, but everyone here is so welcoming and encouraging. I will definitely keep coming here!

Great program and very attentive coaches. Grant clearly knows his stuff. The equipment is top notch and very clean. During my session, he also had a person that was new to lifting all together, his coaching was very adaptable to both types of lifters focusing on each person's unique needs. They have a Dead-lift jack! I've never see one before - I will say it saves your strength for the lifts.

Positive environment, attentive coaching, efficient program.
Big edge this gym has is that the instructors are certified Starting Strength Coaches. So the lifts are coached to the program model, and the instructors are comfortable talking about the various nuances of the lifts and lift selection. Coaches are very articulate and the feedback is precise and not overwhelming. Found coaching on the Press particularly helpful. Likewise I have personally avoided any weird tweaks. With other gym goers, Coaches have seemed pretty capable at adapting the program or lifts as needed for their specific physique.
Facility is pretty new. Parking is fine. Crowd is pretty diverse with a wide range of ages and physiques. Culture is good. Pace of progress pretty satisfying.
