It's my gym. At $22 per month for their top level membership, Planet Fitness is one of the best deals in the history of deals. I look forward for them to someday franchise their way into Ventura. I cannot express my gratitude more for the came that Planet provides me .

This is my favorite PF location. Much cleaner and less crowded than Oxnard. I drive out of my way to come here instead. The gym is nice and quiet and i actually like the lower lights (unlike some complaints on here)
I just recently upgraded to PF Black Card so im excited to try the hydro massage because it looks far more inviting at this location.

UPDATE (NEXT DAY - 2nd visit)
While checking in today I was informed that the black card membership allows you to attend ONLY 10 times per month at a visiting Planet Fitness (that isn't your home gym). I was not aware of this and probably wouldn't have joined the gym if I knew. I often travel for work and joined PF as a black card member so I could use all of their gyms. I'm pretty disappointed.
FIRST VISIT @ THIS PF:
I was hesitant to use this facility while traveling due to a review about having issues going to this gym using their black card membership.
I must say, my experience was completely opposite. The staff scanned my app and wished me a "great workout" with no further questions asked. The staff were very nice. The gym was clean, not crowded and very cool. My home gym is sometimes a little warm, so I appreciated the cooler temperature. I loved that they have a hand sanitizer near the exit/entrance. Little touches like that are nice. I highly recommend this gym for out-of-town black card members or anyone who lives nearby.

So I walked into planet fitness with my black card , the women asked me "do you know about the time limit"- I have gone to over 20 locations because I travel and never heard of such thing. I was told I have a 10 minute time limit and after the time limit is up I'm going to be charged $5 every 10 months after that. I've read the terms and conditions and it states NO WHERE of this. What the f is the point of a black card if I'm not allowed in without paying extra. The funny thing is that I checked in earlier that day with a different staff member and it wasn't a problem.

Tredmills and bikes predominantly. 58$ cancelation fee. This place is so damn annoying with 24/7 Rihanna and lack of weights. Run outside bike outside and this gym is almost useless unless u want to tan.......

I love going to this gym. I used to go to 24 hour but it was so crowded. It's not as packed and just more calm.

I love everything about this gym. Its super clean which is a big deal for me. The staff is wonderful, Sadie is super helpful at the front counter. Plus tanning and massage tables and chairs AND the total body engancement is amazing.
So glad i joined.

Been coming here for almost a year. The environment is very friendly easy going, just enjoyable.
Sadie has been extremely welcoming friendly and makes herself available anytime my girlfriend or I have questions.
I've recommended this location to a number of friends and they all agree this is cleanest gym in camarillo.

My best friend's membership was cancelled today because a group of us were working out together. Apparently we were taking up space in the gym we all pay money to attend and because we're in a group he was "training" us. We will all be cancelling our memberships because that's a horrible way to run a business. We go as a group to keep each other motivated. That friend was the only reason we all signed up for Planet Fitness and have remained members for years! I know it won't make a difference for their business to lose a few people but I'll make sure to let anyone who's looking for a recommendation know that this gym has bad business practices and doesn't respect its own members.
Edit: As requested below I contacted the number and I spoke to an assistant manager who said they couldn't help me and I would have to wait until next week to speak to the regional manager. She offered me an email to contact the regional and I said that was unnecessary, we'll be going in today to cancel. I don't understand why I have to put in the work to fix their mistake. We just want to get back to working out so we'll be joining Fitness 19 so we can stay on track with our progress.

This is a gym for women, not men. Lacks weights. Annoying anti men rules. 500 treadmills and bikes. Staff maybe friendly but the gym is not for straight men unless you're purly a runner. 4 months using this gym just loath being apart of it.

The gym is very clean and well maintained. It's never crowded and all the machines are clean and kept in working order.

Don't consider it a gym...especially since they serve pizza every month...and I'm basically getting kicked out for dress code laws "cutoffs" planet fitness is a joke. Unless you dont care about strick rules I really don't recommend

Love it better then Oxnard location. Not as packed and so quiet during wkdays in the am. Staff is very friendly. Its alwys clean or being cleaned when i go.

Enjoying this gym so far. The equipment is nice and clean. The employees are friendly. I like that it's open 24/7, super convenient for my schedule. I like that I can go there and feel like I can focus on my workout. There are multiples of the same machines so you don't have to wait around for someone to finish their workout before you can use the equipment next. And of course you can't beat the price! Overall two thumbs up!
