This gym drives me crazy with no wifi. My phone wont work when i need to get online and yea sure you can ignore your phone when you train but not if your work is needing wifi. Every other gym in the world has it except this one. Come on cerritos get with 2019 !!

I've been looking for the right gym with the right equipment for my needs. I called this one to ask if they had a pullover machine there...The person on the phone said we have everything here...I asked him again about this specific machine and was assured it was there....it wasn't...he lied and apparently doesn't know about the equipment present at the gym.
So far I've only found that machine at Brea...I've been to 7 different 24hrs and only found it at Brea...I understand that they're not all the same but I wish 24hr had better knowledge about equipment present at their gym.

Were no help trying to figure out what was the issue with a membership card bought from a wholesale store. They were quick to respond by telling us we had to purchase a membership card when they previously said the last day before renewing the membership was the 25th. Employee was quick to get us out of the gym without an attempt to understand the situation and properly communicate what the issue was.

To me this is not a good place for anyone serious about making gains. Yeah there are plenty of barbells and dumbbells but when the place gets packed with a bunch of people who clearly have no intention to take their workout seriously the gym feels more like a social club than a fitness club. Also I highly recommend not signing up for personal training here especially when they hire nothing but out of shape, ignorant average fools like mike, the one balding guy with a beard and a beer belly who is completely clueless about fitness and making progress. I'm already using my last month and will take my business elsewhere

This is one of the best in SoCal. It has new equipment, classes you can schedule on a giant screen, and a basketball court. It reminds me of some of the ones I've been to in nice Texas suburbs where they have space to spread. This treadmill had tire tread on it (see picture). Pretty cool.

So disappointed they don't have the precore elliptical machine here. They only have star trac wish was awful in tracking calories burned. I basically wasted my time coming here. Find another gym if you need a cardio burn.

I like how open the exercise area is, which gives a nice feeling of union with other people who exercise and motivates you to do the work. I tried almost all the machines there and definitely have favorites. I enjoy the wet sauna after exercises, which some gyms don't have. The only problem there is parking. If you come during hot hours (after 5 p.m. on weekdays) you can cruise around for some time searching for space. I always get somewhere to park, so it is not a major issue to me. I don't even mind driving 1 hour after work just to experience clean, welcoming environment with contemporary machines that a lot of other 24 hour fitnesses don't have.

Decent gym with a lot of machines. Good open run bball Great trainers if needed but some employees customer service may need to be worked on. Super sport but I never seen or used wifi

The equipment is good there is everything there to exercise and enjoy yourself with the staff could be better but they are okay

They don't put on the AC in the morning, but since the gym is still hot, it's supper muggy in there. Even worse in the men's locker room, it's so hot and muggy in there. I've told many of the employees, but no one cares. Also the men's locker room is disgusting. You can see ants crawling on the lockers. Often times the toilets are over flowing. There's always broken showers. Honestly, it's a health and safety hazard in the locker room. In the gym, half of the paper towel dispensers are empty or the cleaner fluid in the bottles is empty. Again, employees don't care at all when you tell them.

Went there with my girlfriend just moved to the area wanted to sign up and get a workout in took 15 minutes still not seen! We end up working out they take our ID's.
We try to get your after then leave another 15 mintues we ask for our ID's back 3 times they keep calling people and making excuses saying busy so we left AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Worst super sports among all super sports clubs. Towels not ready often, burglary in the men's locker room, TOO low water pressure in shower, stratching area is too small, etc..

Good gym BUT the some of the staff does not follow its own rules or policies. Such as re racking their own weights when working out, taking off shoes in sauna or even worse washing hands after using the restroom!

I went there today for the first time. Well it is a clean place...i can give it that but...I think 24 hour fitness in general need to train all employees on what passes can be used where because I called the Lakewood gym and this gym and was told yes ur pass is good for both... I go to Cerritos today and get a totally lame excuse...that it is not good for both and I would need to upgrade. Now...Lakwood is a Supersport...Cerritos is a supersport. I am from the Lakewood gym...have been there forever and 24 hour fitness has me listed as going to an ACTIVE gym.. wrongggggg so now I see why people go to crunch or planet fitness or LA fitness....as 24 hour fitness just wants to sham u into paying more.

A typical 24 Hour Fitness, but cleaner than usual.
Very spacious, and not extremely crowded during it's busiest hours.
I recommend people join with the all-day facilities membership so they can visit any facility.

Apparently a regular memebership doesn't cover this one, although if you take a look at it it looks like an ordinary 24 hour fitness. Never would have guessed by it's appearance. I think it's just a scheme to get you to upgrade. $$

Why is this a 3.9?! Place is a solid 4.5! They provide
- Modern equipment
- Clean and spacious sauna, steam room, pool, and overall facility
- Towels!!
- Very good ventilation

Great set up. Very roomy with many weights. Various machines to target different muscle groups. Clean and presentable. The only gym I have seen where the weights are actually placed back to their designated spots. The staff is very welcoming and take time to acknowledge everyone.

I have been going to this location since it opened and it was great in the beginning...clean and new. I have had trouble with the LOUD music system. I have asked and asked to have it turned down, as NO ONE listens to it. All the people 99.9% have their own headphones. The people on the floor have a hard time talking to each other... why? I have tenitis and I'm not suppose to be around LOUD systems as it will make it worse. So in order for me to hear my headphones I have to turn it up and even then the 24Hr system is loud. So this is a problem for sure.
UPDATE: After speaking to the Member Service yesterday with the nicest girl, I got a call from Justin at the gym who was very understanding and helpful. Today I went and the nice guy at the desk turned the system down to a normal level, so I had a great time/workout! I'm thankful that the people at 24HR are so nice.
Update 2: I gave up after trying to "manage" ... I'm gone!
The one girl at early morning time 4:00 was so indifferent and when I asked her why she turned the sounds back up she said she didn't... "maybe the system turned itself up"

Needs better basketball. A lot of the balls are worn down and ripped. Doesn't fit with how nice the court is.

I would give it no stars!. My husband went in to the gym to check it out and possibly switch from LA fitness to 24 hr. Sales guy was pretty helpful he was trying to get $50 dollars taken off the initiation fee. Sales guy called over one of the managers a black guy named Daisy and he begin to interrogate my husband why he want to switch to 24hr. Fitness. My husband responds why does it matter. The manager continues to question him some more and tell him I don't think this gym is a good fit for you. My husband responds who are you to know what's a good fit or not for me, then has the audacity to tell him ill give you $10off the initiation fee. I don't know what this guys problem is and he need to be fired!!! You don't treat potential customers like That! I will call corporate to complain and have some thing done about him. I see plenty of complaints in regards to managememt.

Parking lot is always full. However, it doesn't reflect when you walk into the gym... that's a big plus since I don't like waiting.
