Went to this place to ask for more information. Talked to one fo the guys that was at the front desk. He answered all of my questions and gave me a tour. At no point did I feel pressured to join! He gave me a break down of the membership and the class schedule and told be that if I wanted to get the promotion, just to join before the end of the month. The fact that he didn't pressure me to join made a world of a difference! I will definitely be joining Planet Fitness because of him.

Its not a bad place. The best times to go are really early in the am or later at night around 8/9pm when its not jam packed where you cant even use a simple treadmill. Its not the ideal place to go to if youre a gym enthusiast, there are always people sitting around and there is some lack in equipment so you have to work with it. Other than that the employees have always been nice to me.

It gets the job done. There is nothing fancy, it supports almost all of your needs if you just need some basic equipment. If you like upgraded equipment this is not the place for you. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and it is a great place to get your workout in.

Equipment in great shape, floors usually stocked with paper towels and disinfectant. Minor ac leak from ac unit near treadmills heading towards restrooms. A lot of transients but hey if they have a membership why not let them in.
However the staff seams to take very little care of showers absolutely disgusting curtains and ceiling are stained and caked with a gunk on a regular basis.

Love going to this planet fitness, the place is always clean, & its open 24/7, since I have the black card I could bring a guess every time I workout , you can't beat that

Just your average gym with the basic machines nothing fancy this us place to get in and out, staff seems to be nice and this location is less busy than orhers on certain days which is something i like less ppl more machines u can use

I have a terrible experience going to planet fitness and when I wanted to cancel they charged me a $58 cancellation fee!

Been going here for a few months now. I think it's definitely worth the value. It doesnt have all of the equipment and machines but they still have plenty enough to get a quality workout. The other members here seem like good people, everyone just minds their own business which is perfect, no gymtimidation whatsoever. There are a lot of negative reviews for this place, but I think these people are just expecting way too much from a gym that's only $10 a month. In my opinion it's a cool place and you get more than you pay for here. If you just want to have a peaceful workout in a clean and safe environment and don't mind waiting a little for some machines, then this is the place to go.
Also. I'm not sure where all of these negative reviews about the employees are coming from. I think they are great, I'm always greeted when I walk in and thanked when I leave. Whoever helped me sign up was very friendly and professional. Not sure what else people want from them.

I like this Gym but it's always over crowded so hard to do my usual workout since I have to be waiting for the free weights and or machines to be available. Sometimes they are not even available and I have to go to another Planet Fitness which is inconvinient.

I give it one star because of the price , otherwise it would be zero.The homeless people come in take a shower and leave the showers filthy. I was very cautious not to set my bag because I saw a roach and notified the staff. I mainly go around 3 am they have had issues with safety and only keep the automatic door open.The staff when I first joined was great ! It does not cost anything to greet your customers , half of the time they don't or act like it is a chore.The manager is rude and sets the example ! There is always homeless people hanging out in the parking lot.BE CAREFUL WATCH YOUR BACK ! There was one crazy lady tried to get it my car on the passenger side.I had pepper spray ready !!

Bailey the bigot has horrible Customer service. I just moved to Bellflower and took my daughter shopping at fashion Trend I decided to walk around the shopping center and noticed my gym. I Walked in and asked if I can look around. With a smug look on her face she says I must check in. So I gave her my information and turned around to the railing to check out the lay out. Bailey raises her voice. You can't go in yet!!! (I wasn't even trying) She then asks may I have your phone and I give her my number and turned back around this time not even making steps and again she yells at me. I am over weight and wasn't dressed in my nicest clothes.I really think that she was discriminating against mebecause of my appearance. Smh

Dirty parking lot walking up-1st red flag. Trash on floor inside while staff stands around tlkng. Janky little speaker above "stretch area" blaring loud and distorted as way too loud for that small area. Tootsie roll wrapper in water fountain. Disappointed as I travel a lot around the US and this is the first time I've seen this at PF. Even DTLA has a nice Clean store. Coulda gave 3 stars if at least it was clean. Overall not at all a location I want to return to, appears dingy and unkempt inside and out.

2 years after I cancel my membership, I get a phone call stating I have a past due balance.. call gym in bellflower spoke to the rude employee name crystal wish transfer me to the manager name Donald told me this has never happened, obviously it has!!!! seen several reviews about same thing, coincidence I don't think so.. something happened to there computer system or else this would not happen 2 years later.. He end up telling me he will contact the district manager Jesse and call me back within 4 days.. ask if I could get Jesse's phone number in case I didn't get a call back..He gave me a google number with voice mail of Jesse Vargas, I left several messages, but no response from Donald manager bellflower gym or His superior Jesse Vargas, very frustrating... what a poor way to run a business very unprofessional and no sense of care...will continue to call till my issue resolved

June 2017 - Terrible... the guy at the front desk was rude. Curly hair in ponytail. I walked in to see what i needed to join and the first thing i was greeted with was with no i cannot join and they have all these rules which he gave me flyers that said nothing on what he was saying. All the members facing the door working out looked miserable. Prob looking at me to walk out and not make the same mistake. I walked out bummed and glad i didn't join a rude staff group.

The workers may have there one in a million good worker but they are way to emotional. Male or female, they straight up need an attitude adjustment. The payment plan is a straight up lie too ! Not just $1 down. Or just $10 to $20 a month. Please, if you have the money and a good source of transportation use another gym.

Stupid immature and unprofessional kids at Tue counter who have no idea whatsoever how to respect customers and call them by Mr. Or Madam instead of dog homey and other ridiculous stupid pin head non senses as if raised on the street with no education. Hmm mmmm I wonder if that's why they have to stand on their feet 4 hours a day making pennies in a dollar I wouldn't give a damn if minimum wage was $20/hr aint nothing worth standing up all damn day. And to make matters worse dummy's working at the counter with no business or customer service skills. Just, walk out the door and go home!!!!!!
