The absolute best gym in Orange County! Very clean facilities, extremely knowledgable trainers and a fantastic feeling of community every time you come in!

I LOVE THIS GYM!! I started working out with Filipe many years ago. I had a specific goal in mind and he helped me lose 18 lbs in 3 1/2 months! I took a few years off to deal with life, but I had such an incredible and positive experience that when it was time for me to get back in shape for my wedding, I knew exactly where I wanted to train. I have been training with Filipe ever since! All of the employees are very supportive and friendly - especially Dylan!
I can honestly say that Filipe genuinely cares for his clients and has worked with me through EVERY obstacle I have come across over the years. When I lacked in knowledge about exercises or muscles, he taught me correct posture and a variety of exercises I could do based on the equipment I had available to me at home. He even drafted a customized workout plan for the days I was not working with him. When I lacked in knowledge about the right foods to eat, he wrote me a nutrition plan and gave me several recipes to try out. He taught me portion control, food prep, and most importantly, self-discipline. He even answered several questions I had about diet fads and myths. When I lacked in time, he worked with my schedule to find a time that worked or a trainer that could fill in. He also gave me great suggestions on how I could get in extra cardio in on my busiest days. When I lacked in money, he worked with me on scheduling frequency, and offered several cheaper options such as group training classes. When I lacked in motivation, he provided me the pep talks I needed to reach my fullest potential, created new and innovative exercises to keep me engaged and gave me the mental push to stay on track with my goals.
I cannot say enough great things about The Lab and how the training has changed my life and helped me live a healthier life style. It is DEFINITELY worth the money! Like most people, it is difficult for me to drag myself to the gym. It has always been something I struggled with, but Filipe's enthusiasm and obvious passion for his job makes working out more enjoyable. He is incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to ALL of his clients. Overall, Filipe has a great heart and provides an amazing service! Best choice I have ever made! Anyone who knows him will tell you the same.
Overpriced!!! Phillipe is a pretentious jerk he overcharged me and only cares about money so if you drive an expensive car he might train you himself if not he will hand you off to anyone who has a six month certificate, gym has no A/C I wasn't ever told I could come in on my own for a trainer with hardly no experience he charges outrageous prices. Do yourself a favor and save money by getting a trainer who actually cares this place never ever mad me feel like a member bunch of snobs they aren't helpful unless they think you have a fat wallet and FYI the trainers were always talking crap about members when I was right there. I can't express in words the disappointment I feel when I think about this place. I want my money back Phillipe you are ripping people off, and oh yeah I lost my job and he had ZERO compassion and told me he the owner had to charge me the $15 difference for the 10months I had trains there thanks for withdrawing $150 out of my account when you knew It was out of my unemployment check and I have a two year old to take care of talk about no empathy. Greedy greedy greedy
