To call this place a DUMP! Is an insult to DUMPS. The club, in my opinion, is a financial fraud if you join believing its a health club. The history is shocking, including the over $18,000 per month they must pay past members was are disabled. The reason their is such a high turnover, is they simply do not pay their employees. They no longer have a juice bar, etc., as the city shut it down due to a cockroach and mice problems of an epic proportion.
I dont understand why people talk badly about this place. I love it. Dont listen to bad reviews, come check it out for yourself.
Horrible management and customer service. I paid in advance for their swimming school and they were unable to find a swimming coach for my son after their last one quit mid-way. They ended up loaning the facility to a new swimming school that charged significantly higher prices per lesson. I eventually asked for a refund but they were unwilling to provide one. They even intentionally ignored my calls when I try to reach out for a follow up of any kind.
In short, avoid at all costs and I strongly advise against choosing their swimming school.

Filthy, disgusting, toilets not flushing, air conditioning has been broken for months and they keep lieing and saying it's fixed. Do not join this dump!! They sold it to a con that is just letting it die out. I know people who have gone here for 30 years and they can't believe how rotten it is now. If you try to talk to management they are either never available or are extremely rude and lie to your face. Can you imagine a huge facility with a lot of potential. But it has cockroaches running on the old disgusting carpet that has never been cleaned or replaced. A very old elevator that makes you sick from the smell and could break down at any moment. Chairs near the racquetball courts that have holes in the seats that I've actually fallen through! They repeatedly say it's being upgraded when actually it keeps getting worse. You pay $100 towel fee and since the washer and dryers are broken also. They can give you one small towel upon entry. I've tried to go again because I like the indoor pool. But it stinks so bad to just walk through the locker room and after I needed another towel, was told only one per customer. Tried to use the shower facilities again and they were still moldy and stink. I couldn't even get out of there fast enough with my wet drippy hair. Which on the bright side cooled me of enough to get through the rest of the stinky, sweaty old dump of of a gym.
You can't cancel your membership, they will keep charging you even when you request to cancel.
I actually had to close my bank account to stop the charges for this unsanitary health hazard
Oh and if you're still interested because it's so empty, be aware that most equipment is broken also and is not sanitary to day the least. This place will be shut down very soon from the health department for sure.

This gym is still in the 90s. Run down, broken equipment, the manager Kim is very rude to members.

We've been going to this gym for several years. It's not the cheapest, but I've never once had to wait for a machine! That alone is worth the extra cost. However, some of the machines are worn down and broken and management takes a while to get them fixed. We continue to go there for the atmosphere and because it's never crowded. But if a 24-hour fitness opens up nearby, it would be tempting...

The manager Kim I think her name is, is probably the rudest person I've ever encountered in my life. I don't even understand how she got her position with her horrible customer service skills. She talks to you with the worst attitude actually rolled her eyes at me multiple times because I am a new member and didn't know how to properly sign in because I was never given a card. The rest of the staff is super friendly. I feel bad for them that they work under that monster.
Reached out to manager about membership details for racquetball. Received no response. Same result from my partner- no response from management. Facilities are nice but perhaps better communication in customer service
I used to belong to this gym and still would if it weren't for the rising fees. I left there paying about 60 bucks for two people, when I started paying less than 40. I really liked this place because it was never crowded. I never had to wait for a machine. The staff there has always been great too.
Very nice staff and friendly atmosphere. Even at 6 pm you can find equipment to use. Huge club
It's an okay gym and very expensive. They will start your off at around 40-50 a month but then every few month they add on a dollar or two, which is kind of shady... I've been a member for 3 years now and I referred 6...SIX... LET ME SAY IT ONE MORE TIME, SSIIXXX PEOPLE, to join this gym. What did I get in return for my referrals? The very next month my membership went up! Lmao. Thanks Meridian!
