Found them through Groupon. Purchased a series of 10. The instructors are great and provide modifications. To see results you need to attend class at least twice a week. Signed up for a 9-month unlimited attendance since I will be attending 3 times a week. I take classes at both the Orange and Anaheim location.
Amazing Yoga instructors(teachers). Wide variety of training styles and they mix it up quit a bit. Clean studio. Positive vibes all around
Feelings of it were nice. Decor being simple but to the point was bold. Supporting this local place again with top customer service and purpose.
I've been coming here for several months now. I was new to yoga when I started frequenting this studio. Everyone was very welcoming when I started. The instructors are all friendly and helpful. Now I'm hooked on this place, and I'm there almost every day. I highly recommended this place.
BOW CHICKA BOW BOW
Picture this - Your's truly, the stud muffin, deep into cow pose, transitioning into plank, slowly bringing chest to mat, smoothly flowing into snake pose, muscles taut & ripped, sweat beading down my brow.
Sexy! ;p
Yoga is one of life's greatest gifts! I attended a Vinyasa Flow class at The Yoga Mat with Madison as my instructor.
I've been to events at the Orange location, but this was my first class at the Anaheim one.
I conveniently reserved my spot by making an online profile on The Yoga Mat's website. The class went by in a flash. Madison guided us through each pose with a gentle, comforting voice. None of us were first timers, but the easy to follow instructions would suit anyone, novice to expert.
I haven't done yoga in awhile, but I found my muscle memory quickly acquainting itself during the class. Yoga does so much in calming the nervous system, conditioning your core and stilling your thoughts. Afterwards, I felt completely rejuvenated, ready to take on the world.
Parking is not a problem & free on the street and in the parking structure by Anaheim Ice.
If you're looking for a yoga studio, perhaps for your first ever yoga class, then I highly recommend The Yoga Mat. The instructors will help you on your spiritual journey and The Yoga Mat offers various promotions for people to take advantage of.

Nice little studio. I was visiting from out of town. It was a level 1 class and Heather was very instructive with great body knowledge. If they would have had water to buy it would have been bonus but regardless I'd practice here again.
The Yoga Mat offers online reservations, which is super convenient. All their different classes have descriptions so you can choose the one for you, but the instructor also asked us what we wanted to work on as well. She gave options for those who were beginners. It's a small, no frills studio. Parking was easy and the people here were friendly and helpful. They have mats, blankets, towels and blocks for you if you need them.
Yoga is a welcomed edition to my life. Thank you Yoga Mat for introducing me to the beauty and spirit of Yoga!
My day leading up to this special event was not fun. I was ready to leave work at 5 PM and decided to work on one more email since it was 4:58PM and I felt like I can do this.. I ended up not leaving until 5:30 PM where I started to panic. Crap the traffic is going to suck and sure enough it did. Not very Zen like. I wanted to come to Yoga relaxed, but instead and hour of traffic later I made it to Anaheim from Irvine. Yikes! I barely slide in the last space in the small Yoga studio around 6:31 PM before the start of class.
As I discussed in the Barry's Bootcamp review. I fear yoga! I am not flexible, so was afraid like an English Major about to take the math portion of the SATs. I'm good at math so that's a bad example, but I felt like I was going to break myself and not in a good way. My only experience of yoga was the 1.5 hour DVD workouts I tried during my attempt at P90X, the home fitness workout. So, I was a Yoga virgin! I only did Yoga by myself and this would be the first time I pop my cherry with other people. No pun intended. Sure yoga by you is fun, but I heard yoga with multiple people is better.
I like how the class was at your own pace. The P90X yoga is very macho and strength type yoga. It works well, but it burns. The Yoga Mat class was more of a surfer chillax so cali hippy yoga. You can do whatever you like at your own pace. So, I only attempted the poses I've tried before and nothing advanced. Well, I survived without hurting myself.
My favorite pose is the one where you close your eyes and lay on your back and clear your mind, not only was it relaxing. I may be able to do that home. If only you could see me in action, you'd be jealous.
Maybe I will give yoga another try. It's very relaxing and it washed away all the stress from work and traffic. I didn't fart like many horror stories I've heard. So at least I wasn't that guy, but I was a little worried about getting hot and heavy with fellow peeps. Sweating and being in a small yoga room with barely elbow room and candles were a little too intimate. I hope I didn't smell sweaty, but I guess everyone else did at the same time. So I'm good right? It wasn't me if someone smelled.
