Belly Sprout changed my life for the good. It's not just a retail shop. They are very involved with the community and provide wonderful classes and workshops. It's not just a place for moms anymore as they have an eco-beauty bar with a wide selection of safe cosmetics. If you're pregnant and looking to empower yourself through knowledge, Belly Sprout can help you on your journey with referrals, resources, and information. As for special orders, I placed an order for a baby carrier and accessories and received them with excellent customer service.

They never completed the shipment that I paid for, and this situation is still unresolved. Although I love who they are, on paper, and what they are about, it is so disappointing to not have them be a business with integrity that follows through and fulfills what they promise. Be careful in working with this business.

This place is incredible.
I stumbled on this place after giving birth to my son--- I was going a little stir-crazy in the house, and wandered in while on a walk.
WOW. I wish I had found it sooner.
First off, if you are looking for a chance to get out of the house, this place is unbelievably baby-friendly. There are chairs to nurse in, and the area for kids to play in (they've got really cool toys, too!) is bigger than the actual "store" portion of the store. The Mommy and Me on Fridays (free! Cool!) is a wonderful thing--- just show up, relax, socialize your kid, and kick back with other moms. :)
Second, the staff is wonderful. As far as I can tell, they all have their own kids that they bring with them while on-duty, so you know that they have experience in what they're talking about. This place has been such a life-saver for my sanity--- I don't have a lot of female friends in the area, so it's absolutely wonderful to have a place I can just drop by and feel so welcomed.
Third, the actual items sold there are REALLY cool. Are you interested in baby-carriers? Well, not only do they have almost every baby carrier available, but they also have samples for you to try on and see which is a best fit for you. They've also got lots of cool extras, like hand-sewn covers for the ergos which are adorable, a wonderful collection of used clothing for discount prices, really cool eco-friendly toys and gadgets. Teas to help promote lactation, natural tablets to get you through teething, jewelry, etc, etc. If you are looking for neat, unique baby-shower gifts, this is the place.
Best of all, I've get to bring in a question that they weren't able to help me with. They also have tons of clinics and classes. Check out their website, or better yet, just drop on by.
