This gym is filthy and the machines are old and not well maintained. The pool is really dirty like they never clean it. So many better gyms than this stinkfest!
Ryan Vravis is the coolest receptionist hands down! She always greets and says farewell with the cutest smile and bright eyes. It's a pleasure being asked about my day and seeing how she interacts with other members. Y'all need to promote her fam, true story!
I am a long time gold's gym member and was visiting from out of town. Was treated terribly and rudely by the front desk when I simply wanted to use a guest pass for my friend to work out with. Was made to wait for a sales rep before allowing to work out, with no reasonable expectation of how long to wait. Definitely avoid this location if you are a golds member from out of town looking to workout with a friend. The lack of flexibility and rudeness was outstanding.
Love this gym, the only gym I've been to with 9 squat racks. Not an issue since I only hit it in the mornings but love the peace of mind of not having to ever wait #vip
This Gold's Gym is shady AF.
They charged me a late fee because there was an "issue with the payment method on file." But they only contacted me AFTER charging the fee. No courtesy call, email, or text...
I've been using the same credit card since they opened in late 2017 and have never had an issue.

Very nice and new gym. Staff is friendly and there always tends to be a sale for gym membership. They have different plans that include a variety of things such as towels, pool access, and water massage therapy. The only bad thing is that it isn't 24 hours. If you need to go to the gym in the middle of the night, 24 Fitness is your best bet

When I would go in and say goodmorning she would ignore it. She wouldn't even smile at all. It really made me feel unwelcome and like I didnt belong there. It's a shame because it's a nice location and incredibly a nice and clean gym.

The Gym itself is top of the line with new and innovative machines. The staff is well rounded and informed. I appreciate the cleanliness of this facility. The pool, jacuzzi, steamroom and hydrotherapy are an added bonus.
The instructors and trainers make the membership worth it's weight in Gold.

Love it! Absolutely love the entire facility and staff. The equipment is great, the vibe is great and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable.
1/2 the time you try to use a machine it is being "used" by idiotic circuit training people. It is horrible that one person can occupy 5+ machines and have other people wait for a long time to use one damn machine. I hate that the management doesn't care about this and I despise that management doesn't enforce the rule of not permitting cameras or photography in the locker/restroom/bathing area. Every time I go to use the shower or use the changing room 3/4ths of the women in the lockers are taking pictures and filming while there are other women in the background. And yet this gym refuses to do anything to stop this. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE ETHICS.

I come here regularly, friendly staff, great environment. Called a few weeks back and asked if my friends brother (who is a minor and I'd be accompanying him the entire time) could just try it out BEFORE he signed up to make sure he liked it, and felt comfortable there. Called the front desk, not sure his name but the Asian guy answered and asked him if my friends brother could try it out. He asked me the basic questions like how old and whatever. I gave him the info, and said "no because your membership doesn't have any guest passes" so that irritated me, because a few weeks prior, I took my sister and her boyfriend with me and they tried it out with no problems at all. So I kept asking why he couldn't try it out, before to see if he likes it so he can sign up. But he kept on saying that he couldn't try it, because he was a minor(even with me accompanying him the entire time) and kept saying he couldn't come just because he wasn't a member. Staff member sounded very uneducated as far as what's going on in the gym. So I told him "its fine I'll talk to johnny then" he gave me an attitude and said "ok you do that then". not sure what his issue was that day or what his problem is, but someone needs to have him chill. Instead of refusing to say "well how bout you come in, and we can figure something out" or "since he's a minor he needs an adult 18+ to be with him the whole time, so just have him come in and well give him some information and give him a tour and let him try it out". staff member needs to work on his communication, customer service, and people skills.

There is a Large range of equipment and free space. The pool is nice, the steem room feels wonderful. The staff is very helpful with any questions. There is no Sauna at this location in particular, however there are massage beds and they feel good. they have good music to work out to, i dont feel like i need to play my own. Its a very welcoming environment for anyone looking to better their physical health. 10/10 prefer this gym.
I really love this place because other then a affordable and very convenient for me reminds me at my church the moment I walk in make the different you fill like walking in your home a very friendly place to call GYM

I cannot complain about the personal trainer we had. He really focused on my son and was patient, very informative, and really INSPIRED my son.

Best gym I have been a member at the staff is always friendly, greet me by name and are always smiling. I come in late so I'm usually have asleep but when I get greeted by name with a smile it just sets my mood for a great workout. As far as the equipment its all new and nice and when things do need any repairs its done in a timely manner most gyms I have been to leave an out of service sign on the equpiment for like a month when all it usually needs is some tightening or minor adjustments but golds gets it done quick and I appreciate that. The weights are all re-racked at the end and I know cuz I'm there at closing every day I see the staff hustle and get things done and they are always smiling and friendly. I would reccomend this gym to anyone that is serious about lifting.
I just recently got a membership at this gym, when I sat with a salesperson I asked if they had any promotions he said he doesn't think so. Then two days later I search the gym online for location and I see this promo that says you can join for 9.95 a month. I'm gonna go to the gym because i have a subscription, but the moment it is done I'm getting out of here. I really don't appreciate being done like that. Other than that the staff is friendly and the gym is really nice.
Best gym to go to in Anaheim no doubt. Very clean. Staff is very nice always with a smile on their face that makes you feel welcome. Great equipment brand new. They also have child care in case you have kids and don't have any body to take care of them they do that for you.
This gym is brand new. It is crowded right now due to the new year factor. Attrition will start soon as those that set the new years goal to get in shape, lose weight fail to launch. Hey I've been one of them. I currently left Chuze fitness to join Golds Gym based upon the free weight benches. I am so far satisfied with my membership as far as amenities. I will probably leave after my year membership due to the fact that I want to add my children to my membership for a total of four memberships.(an additional two including them) I pay about $40 a month and I wanted to add them for an additional $9.95. I asked one of the sales reps there but they were adamant about a $60.00 charge for each additional account before i could sign them up for $9.95. I am not willing to do that, I figure after my year is up I will have more bargaining effort to join somewhere else. Other than that I have no complaints.
The staff is friendly, and always welcome me upon entering. There are a lot of options here including some workout machinery or setups that are different. I look forward to checking out the classes while under contract for a year. If they ever offer me to add my kids for an additional 9.95 per kid hey I'd stay.
For a gym thats been less than a year old, a little disappointed by the cleanliness of the work out equipment. I understand its a gym, but a quick wipe by staff would not hurt nor take too long. Whoever vacuums is doing a mediocre job. I picked my phone off the ground and dust bunnies/hair came up with it. Not sure who supervises the cleaning crew, but you seriously need to have a talk with how slow they work. I would hate to see this gym go terrible.
I worked out next someone getting trained by a trainer and they had a client swing their weight. Showing somone proper form is incredibly important for someone learning, especially if they are paying you! It also projects the quality of their program.
This has nothing to do with the gym's overall rate, but members please take a body shower before you come. Just a quick 30 sec will suffice. Just common courtesy for the people around you and others using your machine after.
Overall, they need to pick up with maintaining cleanliness and honoring the "Golds Gym" standard. The equipment is great and this gym has lots of potential. Definitely would recommend you to come try this gym out.

Great experience. Victor went above and beyond what could be expected. I had many questions before I signed, and he patiently answered all of my questions. Very positive experience.
I spoke to a rep David sometime mid September and explained the promo for the 9.95 a month which was limited to the cardio and the weight rooms, which I was okay with. I was explained that for me and my wife, start up fees were going to be $20 bucks each plus one time processing fee of $60.
Now today 9/29/2017 I went in to actually sign up and David wasn't in so we spoke to Omar. He starts up asking which tier we wanted to join and we chose the Basic 9.95 and pulls out that we both have to pay the processing fee of $60 plus the First and Last Month... WHOA with that we slammed on the brakes. I explained to him that according to David we would only pay one processing fee. Omar explained that it was not right and that promo ended in August. At this point his eye started twitching like a nervous tick. He excused himself to make a phone call and short moment later he came back to tell us he can't honor it and to add to the insult he was giving us a free month VIP passes. My wife and I just got up and left.
From the direct mailers to the so called consultants I kept getting deceitful practices for the so called LEGEND golds gym.... sooo disapointing...
Terrible service. I gave them 2 referrals AND for some reason it show only 1 refferral. I called the guy Angelo many times and he said he will take care, yesterday I went to gym a guy DAVID said you call ANGELO he will take care. I was like seriously !!! For business you guys run like a DOG and once we put our bank card on file signing agreements these guys don't care any more. Be extra carefu when sign contracts there are sooo many things they don't tell you and you will feel scammed when you go for change plan or cancel membership. Disappointing experience.
Nice and new machines...But it's smaller or at least seemed more smaller than Santa Ana. Cinema is much more reduced Im not a fan switching back to Santa Ana.
