Renewed membership only to go back the next day to discover the doors were padlocked. The place went out of business and there is no way to get a refund for a prepaid membership! In addition, this place has been getting more and more dirty to the point that the floors, in the corners, in between machines etc is covered in hair, dust etc.
Don't go here. They keep changing their hours and terms of service. Terrible
Update: so after telling them three times that I was not renewing my membership they have sent me to collections. These people change their hours, refuse me a refund when they switch to hours I can't work and send me to collections after my contract was up (I had paid one full year in advance with no obligation to renew). These people are scum bags. I highly recommend you not get involved with people who use such business practices.
Was excited to get in. Wasn't busy so equipment was open. Half way through my work out a personal trainer decided he needed the box I had been jumping on between sets. When asked if I was done I said no I still wanted to use it. He said we could share which I thought was fine. He then proceeded to move it. Then when I wanted to jump he had set his clip board and other equipment on it. Really just looked like a big F-U. Being my first time in and just enrolling I didn't want to start a fight. I couldn't finish my work out so I left and asked for my money back. Hopefully I wont get charged.
We enjoyed this gym because people were so friendly, but always had an issue with the childcare. My son's feet would be black after playing there and it always seemed dirty. The morning childcare worker Stephanie never seemed to be cleaning, was constantly on her phone or out talking to people, hardly addressed me when I'd drop my son off, did not play with the kids, and one time I had to wait over 20 min for her to finish socializing and come in to the room so I could leave to go work out. We finally had our last straw this week when my husband and I dropped our one year old off. Stephanie was on her phone on a personal call facing the wall. She never addressed us the whole time. A little boy was dressed as a super hero and started "fighting" with our son. I get it, toddlers in costume, boys, etc. But hitting and kicking shouldn't be allowed and she should have intervened. She didn't notice because she was on her phone (typical). So my husband asked him to stop. He didn't. My son started to get scared so my husband picked him up and we walked out. We went to complain to the assistant manager Bryan. He sat back lackadaisical and said she'd never been complained about before and laughed. This got my husband heated who felt like this guy really didn't give a **** that his kid is not safe in this childcare. He insisted she be fired and he wanted to talk to the manager. Bryan decided to take my husband's complaint personally, SLAMMED his desk drawer shut, jumped up and started walking intimidatingly towards my husband saying, "first off, you didn't even ask me my name!" My husband was holding our one year old and walked out recognizing how the incident was turning. Needless to say we just cancelled. Just because SOME of the people there are nice doesn't mean you should sacrifice your child's safety. Please don't take your child there while she's working. I hope they get better management who knows how to ameliorate customer complaints, and keep childcare workers accountable.
The equipment is always available and in working condition. It's easy to complete an uninterrupted workout. Very friendly staff.

Wish this place would have recycling bins. The equipment is a little old but they work great. Friendly atmosphere.
Many different ways to work out. Great people and very clean place.
They had what I need. A happy medium between a commercial gym and a "hardcore" gym. old equipment, hopefully they reinvest into it. Edit: after 2 years of no issues I noticed and was told somethings that made me change my mind about this gym. I would not recommend it anymore.
My first issue was they weren't using a disinfectant in their spray bottles, just the normal Simple Green which does not kill germs. Now I think they finally added some but I'm not sure what it is now.
My second issue is that I was told I can't drop weights on the deadlift platform which is made for dropping weights on. That platform should be replaced every few years and is fairly cheap, they ignore that though. These are weights that are made by a renowned Olympic lifting company called Ivanko that are round and prevent most damage as the anti roll plates do not.
My third issue is two of the urinals are consistently broken, the only other one is on the verge of overflowing, the showers leak to the bigger toilet stall so that if you had your pants on the floor taking a dump your pants would be soaking in restroom floor water.
My fourth issue is that equipment isn't well maintained, it frequently breaks and is inconsistent (one cable will be more resistance than the one across making chest fly exercise feel uneven)
The only thing I actually like about this gym is the community there. The people that lift here are pretty cool and friendly and maybe some of the employees.

This place is disgusting! Plus when you cancel they will accidentally lose your paperwork and keep charging you. I have been in twice about cancelling have had it squared away both times and still have an active account and am now getting charged late fees. I have talked to the manager and I was told I get to come back in again to cancel again. I am sure that this will lead to another non cancellation and more late fees. So many better gyms in close proximity that are cheaper.
Hands down one of the nicest gyms I have ever been to. The gym is always clean and the people are friendly.
Love working out here especially the fitness classes
Seems to look to be a good gym but why aren't there any membership prices on the website? If I don't see prices, I'll just search for another location.
Nice people work out here, but upper management is the worst. No phone number to reach decision makers, gym manager says he has to go to them to deal with problems. No call back to solve problems. Gym made an error(?) has me on two training contracts, 3 weeks later, still haven't gotten a refund. Starting to think it's not an error, fraud instead.
Additionally, gym is dirty, treadmill belts aren't mopped or cleaned, in three years of going to this gym at all hours, I've never see staff cleaning equipment. CRT TVs are cloaked in dust, and reflect the lack of investment and care management has for this property.
I was a member at this gym while living in Arizona. I started out in the El Mirage/Surprise location (they were great). I moved to Peoria and started using that gym. I had signed up for person training sessions and my trainer quit and nobody contacted me to get me a new trainer for months. I called and tried to set up new appointments and would never get calls back. I ended up moving out of state and had a number of sessions I had to pay for and was never able to use due to lack of customer service/ poor communication. I wouldn't invest with personal training there again unless it was at a different location.
Recently I noticed they have began billing me again even though I made it very clear I was moving and was told I was no longer going to be billed. I have called several times to inquire about the charges, nobody who answers the phone can ever help and they always promise to call back and still have yet to call me back to help me resolve the issue.
Long story short, of customer service is important to you I would go else where. However the gym itself is adequate.

Great Gym and I love the atmosphere, And the staff is very friendly and encouraging.
