Had a very bad experience in here. I was waiting to use this weight set and then Arty the Artichoke comes in and cuts right in front of me. The dude was massive and had all of these sharp point leaves. I told him "Dude! I was here first what's up with you?" He just turns around and glares at me. I look into his eyes and see the face of a crazy, overly tough, heartless fighting machine as he towered over me. I took a step back and said "I don't want any trouble bro!"

Great place to workout ,quiet ,relaxing friendly people and for you joggers you're in heaven because you don't have to be in the heat because there's an inside track to jog with ice cold AC in the building highly recommend this place with cheap memberships

Beautiful facility, great for all ages! Has some of the best employees; front desk, aerobics instructors, trainers, and management are all super friendly and knowledgeable!

What a great place to workout! I guess I would like to keep it a secret but I was so sick of the crowds and look at me members at other gyms I was ready to give up but one tour is all it took here. Huge building, tons of machines, free weights and cardio equipment and a full indoor track. No crowds and a very clean atmosphere to just get work done. No juice bar or people who look like they are going to the night club or roid heads.

I discovered this gem of a gym a few years ago when I first moved here and was shopping around. I visited all the usual suspects...Bally's, Life Time, 24-hour, LA Fitness, Mountain Side, etc. None of those were particularly impressive. I needed a serious place to work out, one where I could be comfortable and focused. After paying a nominal fee for a short test drive, I was sold. The main differences between this place and your average gym, for me, are as follows. 1) Clean, pleasing, peaceful yet energizing atmosphere, 2) GREAT selection of equipment, including the superior Cybex Arc Trainer and Crossrobic machines, 3) Diverse member profile (ages, abilities, etc.), 4) No pushy sales people or shady types hanging out, and 5) Friendly, certified staff who actually KNOW what they're doing (thank you, Michelle!). As a bonus, Bob, the GM, is approachable and truly concerned about the members. There are many other perks, but the bottom line is this: If I don't feel comfortable or challenged, I won't go to the gym. With SCCFC, I look forward to going. Yes, there are the occasional annoyances like rudely loud members or machine loiterers, but they are infrequent and brief. Mostly, it's a serious, focused fitness center with a great mix of equipment, people, staff, and ambiance. Works for me.
