Sumits yoga has three different options for their classes ($16 drop in, $99 month unlimited, and $120 10 class pack) since I do a lot of variety in my workouts I decided on a 10 class pack being more cost effective than unlimited. About 4 classes in I was told that my class pack had expired. Isn't the point of pre paying for classes so that your classrd are already paid for? So despite the fact that I had already paid for 10 classes and only used 3, I had to pay for my 4th class again at drop in rate, and now have already paid for 6 classes I can't use. I was told I could use the remaining 6 classes only if I bought another class pack. I asked why classes that I prepaid for would expire and I was told 'that's how the business makes money'. Wow. I had been going to sumits for nearly a year on a drop in basis before buying the class, and the girl at the desk also told me they had no record of me buying the class pack, or ever even being there before the class. She even apologozed and said i wasnt the only one. The instructors at sumits are really good and I have enjoyed all the classes I have taken, but I will not be back again.
