Dr. Xiao is a very good doctor of Chinese medicine. After seeing many doctors for several years, I am finally seeing results. I started to see significant improvement after 4 weeks of treatment, I was so happy to see improvement in such little time. It was such a relief to find Dr. Xiao and her clinic. I was starting to feel as though I would never get better and now I am very optimistic about my health. For almost 2 years I could not focus on reading a book, had hormonal issues and mood issues due to my health. I highly recommend Dr. Xiao.

**Dr. Xiao and staff are exceptional and amazing! Her treatment center has helped me walk again for short periods. Before seeing Dr. Xiao I was bedridden for three months and the western medical approaches were not able to treat or capture the real issues and root of the pain. The last acupuncturist I saw wouldn't even treat my legs or lower spine due to fragility and sensitivity. Then I found GWCM-I only lived two blocks away but never knew the clinic was there.
-Dr. Xiao treats the muscles, tissues, nerves, bones and whole body constitution, which I could not be more grateful for in terms of realized health care. She is able to look at the big picture and uses common sense. I always get great feedback from her after the treatment-she meets with you personally to discuss any issues, concerns and captures your feedback :) You will be working in tandem with Dr. Xiao to gain results. Her entire staff is informative, warm and welcoming. Her team never seems disconnected or has to get back with you-they take care of business on the spot with zero delays in health care.
-I've luckily never had a bad experience with acupuncture and would admit that before coming to Great Wall Holistic Therapy Center, I thought that only my SF/Bay area traditionally trained Chinese medicine doctors could help on this level.
-Dr. Xiao's education (trained as a DO and fourth generation acupuncturist), experience, training, compassion, amazing observation and listening skills make her treatment centers (Scottsdale and Warner Rd.) almost "miracle" centers in Phoenix. I took time before writing this review to make sure that all of the treatments were working and I was not unintentionally biased due to great past results from TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
-Dr. Xiao is truly a pillar in the community-helping patients who find less than effective and desirable relief from strictly western modalities. (I think that if you need surgery, try this place first, regain your health, build your immune system and then entertain the safest course of action for surgery). I do not think that this can replace western medicine in any way but works in harmony with the body and compliments any much needed allopathic care. I've had no negative side effects from treatment and have acquired much needed rest that I wasn't able to achieve with other medications/methods through other multiple doctors and practices.
-I've heard people say that acupuncture does not work for them, but I'm sure that trying GWCM is worth a shot, especially if you're in debilitating pain. I never feel pressured here in any way and always walk out knowing I've received great treatment from caring, competent and compassionate providers.
-The moxi is my favorite-great for women! Would recommend with out reservation and any hesitations at all! FIVE STARS all the way! I can't understate how able and willing Dr. Xiao is to truly help patients! She truly is Veteran friendly and runs Veteran specials at times. She seems to have plenty of experience with Veteran health issues and concerns. I'm grateful beyond words...

Great Wall Chinese medicine is a great place to cure your pain away. Dr. Xiao is a great doctor who can exactly understand what am I saying and knows who to help me get my pain away. I also have to mention that Dr. Liu who is the master of Tuina. He knows how to release my pain and Tuina just made me so comfortable. Thank you Great Wall!

Hello, my name is Russell Wright, and I'm going to leave a video Yelp review for these guys, which I never do, and I've never done before, because my experience of Great Wall Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture was so amazing that it might sound made up if you could not see me in person. What I'm going to do is tell you exactly what happened to me, and give you a unique perspective of how it feels like this staff, and this team, saved my life, and really want to thank Dr. Xiao for all the help that I got in this incident.

On my birthday, October 28, 2015, I got really sick. After my family and I went to celebrate my birthday, I came home and I was in the kitchen, and I had a bad experience that I've never had before, and I thought I was having a heart attack. I didn't know what it was. All I felt was this intense sense of panic and fear.

It was really, really intense, so I drank some water. I kept moving around, and doing some things in order to avoid the panic. I couldn't sleep. I walked around the neighborhood. I had so much energy, and panic, and anxiety going through my body, that I tried everything. I drank beer. I tried everything I knew to keep calm and settle down.

The energy was so intense. It was both panic and energy, like I had to leave the house at all cost. Like a classic anxiety or panic attack. Like an anxiety or panic disorder type of experience. I tried to deal with it, until about 3:00 in the morning, and I still couldn't deal with it, so I went to the hospital. I actually went to a regular hospital, to try to deal with it, and they couldn't find anything wrong with me.They looked at me kind of funny, like it was all in my head, or this type of thing. They gave me some sedatives, very, very heavy sedatives, which I took, which did help because they put me to sleep.

Then, when I was done, after filling out the forms and helping me, she put me in another room, and the first needle that went into me, felt like an explosion. It was directly at some kind of point, which I've had acupuncture before, many, many years ago, but it immediately went directly towards ... I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry. My whole intestine opened up. It was really crazy. It was an amazing experience, like something hard to explain. That's why I'm actually doing a video, because I want you to understand that, that wasn't a bunch of different things happening. It was talking to me, and then one needle, like Kung Fu Panda. Just one needle. Then I felt intestines start to move, and my energy shift. Again, it's hard to explain. They did some more therapy on me, the red mineral lamps in the right place, and then she placed more needles, and her assistant, who's also wonderful ... I'm not sure her name. They worked together with me, and towards the end of the session, I felt the panic come up in the upper intestine, and then and then I felt the energy move down into my lower intestine. I felt everything relax that had not been relaxed in 72 hours. . . .

My daughter went here during her appendectomy recovery stage. She is 6 years old and was a little apprehensive at first about acupuncture. She quickly turned around after Dr. Gingsong Xiao reassured her that the treatment is painless. After just her first visit my daughter went from having pain in her stomach area, exhaustion and a down feeling to feeling refreshed, energetic and free of pain! We continue to go there and plan on getting the rest of the family treatments after seeing the unprecedented results with our own eyes.

I recently visited GWCM for my lower back pain that was so bad it was affecting my walking, sitting and everyday life. I also was experiencing a shooting pain down my left leg that was so sharp I almost couldn't get up stairs at work. I went in was blown away by the office, there are multiple treatment rooms, a great atmospshere and the staff is so nice and helpful.

I saw Dr. Xiao first and she went through ever question you could imagine, she was very in-depth, which made me feel good knowing she cared. She recommended TuiNa massage and acupuncture. After 1 visit my pain level went from a 9 to a 1-2 and after my second visit last week it is almost completely gone.

I cannot say enough about the care given and the help that I received! I would recommend to anyone for pain relief and so much more, they truly do it all.
