I was given a membership from here as a Christmas gift, and I love it. I've been coming since January, and I'm so happy with this place. Unlike other gyms that have crowded peak hours in the early morning and evening, this place never feels full.
Facility is OK but can be dodgy late at night. Also didn't really help much in securing my family member a discounted rate. Thankfully my home Anytime Fitness in Queen Creek added him to my plan at a nominal rate.
Quite possibly one of the worst gyms in Phoenix for the price. The gym is cluttered (similar to what you might think of when you think the term "uncle's home basement gym") equipment hasn't been tuned in quite some time, weights all over the place, and random pieces of equipment tucked in every corner. Everytime I've been in this particular gym the trainer is sitting on their Instagram in the office or playing games on their cellphones... In their office. (If there is time to lean, there is time to clean and there is plenty of cleaning to be done folks). Disipointing, I've been an anytime member for 6 years and this is the first one I've been in that has made me want to switch gyms.
When I joined a year ago was spotless and equipment well taken care of always. Now everything is dirty and laying all about with busted mirrors and smells like a stinky locker room. Too bad, as this was a great spot until the past 60 days.
Another fitness center in the family of Anytime Fitness. It doesn't disappoint. The equipment is in really good working condition and the facility is equally well appointed as well as the lay out is really nice. This fitness center has everything you need and many more pieces of equipment you didn't know you wanted. I have been a member here for almost 3 years and have loved it. I am particularly fond of how close it is to my house and how it's never crowded enough to have to wait for a piece of cardio equipment. The staff is above average I would say. I go to get my workout in and get out, so I really don't socialize with anyone, including the staff. My cardio workout is very intense with High Intensity Intervals. I do push the elliptical machine pretty hard during my 20-30 second sprint intervals. I have been doing this kind of training for about 3 months now and most of the staff has seen me doing these workouts. I recently had a staff member ask me to go easy on the elliptical (apparently I was going too fast). I pretty much said "Okay, no problem man." I don't mind taking my sprint speed down a few mph, that is fine and I will do that now. What I find a little odd is that no one has said anything about it to me for the last 3 months until now. I'm not one for drama, but I thought that was interesting to say the least. All in all a really good gym.

I visited this location recently and was unimpressed and underwhelmed. The floor layout is nice with 4 distinct areas (cardio machine area, cardio room, Hammer Strength buff dude area and cable cross area with the restrooms/shower rooms in between the latter). And although this gives each area the potential for a bit of coziness, the reality is if more than a few people are present it becomes suffocating. Take the buff dude area. It is quite small, with machines packed together. Good luck if there are more than 3 or 4 guys working in this area. I was constantly running into another patron no matter which direction I turned. Same story in the cable cross area, though it has a slightly more open feel.
The one cable machine that has all the endlessly adjustable workouts and level adjustments is awesome, however its location is a joke. It is right on the corner walking path of the Hammer Strength area, just a few feet from one of those machines. It is a ridiculous location for this piece of equipment as the whole point of most of the workouts on it involve having as much room as possible to get full extension. Several times I had to wait, mid rep, for someone to pass by so not to punch them in the side of the face!
Other than suffering from clausterphobia this gym seems ok and has everything you need (no stretch bands sadly). I respect any establishment that has the owner's and manager's business card prominently displayed. The entry area is inviting and chic with the sofa and stool and counter with potted plant. However, i'm not there to lounge over coffee (or a whey shake), i'm there to workout. And, unfortunately, that is not always so easy to do at this location.
Large size for an Anytime. Good variety of equipment with a very things I was pleasantly surprised to see.
The title sounds way cool , how ever if they would have had a sliding fee scale for the low incomed who would be devoted and interested...they may have seen more stars.
24/7 availability, full range of equipment, and friendly staff and members - what more can you ask for in a gym?
The manager, Clint, is super friendly and helpful. You'll constantly see him interacting with members and taking care of the gym.
This location is comprised of people of all ages and physical shape. Everyone is friendly and the regulars become family. Everyone keeps to themselves unless you ask them for a spot.
I've been coming on and off for several years and have never had a problem. Even during the "busiest times" I've never had to wait long for any equipment (I'll do something else and it's open by the time I'm back)
If you're looking to pay 2x the price for hot tubs, smoothie bars or any other unnecessary add-on then look elsewhere.

I love my gym. It's convenient, clean and affordable. ATF makes going to the gym a breeze.
I love the people the staff is very nice the gym is very adequate for my needs plenty of free weights and a heavy bag and strength conditioning equipment I give it 5 stars
The staff would rather ignore you than say hi. I approached the manager for a trainer and he blew me off. There is only one squat rack, and no benches at all. There are too many machines and unused cardio equipment taking too much space. I wish there was an ATF closer to my house.
Nice place because it's usually quiet and you can get a good workout in without having to ever really wait for equipment. The people both staff and other gym-goers are usually very cool. A great place overall!! The only thing I wish they had was an incline plate press machine but besides that it's all good!!
Always clean, nice people here and the 24 hour availability is great. Loved going here! Learn the best times to go though or you might have to wait a bit for equipment.
Like this place because of the convenience and time schedule on 24hrs. Love it....
