I am really disappointed in my experience at this studio - the new student rate is misleading, I was turned away from practicing, and they have still not refunded my money after over 90 days and seven email requests for a refund.
I was in town visiting and was so excited for the new student rate - I bought one for both my partner and I. We were only in town for a few days but wanted to try a few of their classes because they looked really fun!
We got to the studio and were told that, because we were from out of town, we didn't qualify for the rate, which I had already paid for both of us. I was disappointed, but willing to pay for a drop in for the class that we had shown up to do. Then they said they don't have drop in rates, only "day passes" which means you can do all the yoga you want for a day. The cost would have been higher than any drop-in rate I have paid in much bigger cities/studios (Chicago, Washington DC, New York, etc.) and we didn't have time for more than one class that day. Then they offered to refund me the cost of the memberships and go on my merry way. So I was frustrated that I didn't get to practice, but decided to get the refund and go rock climbing instead. I didn't let it ruin my day!
Fast forward over three months later. FINALLY in December (60 days later) they refunded me ONE of the passes. They have still not refunded me the second pass. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews. I'm disappointed that a studio who claims to want to bring yoga to everyone would engage in these types of, at best, misleading, at worst dishonest, tactics to get money.
This is not what yoga is about.
