Great staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. Machines are usually available but even during the busy times people are friendly and willing to share.

My daughter is currently enrolled in ATA LAVEEN and we absolutely love the experience! I have noticed my child display respectful mannerisms, confidence as well as an eagerness to achieve. ATA has helped to instill courage in her in a very short period of time. We are blessed to be part of the family. I love love love ATA LAVEEN!
I have been taking my daughter to Lee's ATA in Laveen for almost 4 years and I have never regretted this decision. I see her making friendships that I can see lasting for forever. I can see her confidence come out when the instructors give her pointers. I have seen her cry and be lifted up and I have seen her being called out when she doesn't do 100%.
My daughter is taught skills to be a competitor, but she has also been taught to support the people she is competing against regardless if she knows them or not. She is taught skills to stand up for herself and for other people. These are skills that she has used.
I love all the instructors there. Yes, some of the instructors are teenagers, but they show more patience, leadership, and knowledge than most adults that I know. I have also read negative comments about tournaments being "pushed" but if you have never been to a tournament, you don't know the connections that can be made, the opportunities you or your child can get from meeting new people who have gone through or are going through the same journey that your family is on.
I have also read comments about the family that owns and operates this school. If you give respect, respect will be given. I trust them with my daughter's, and soon my son's, social and emotional well being. I had even went though a hard time and they supported my family through that time. They reminded me to never give up and to never let my daughter give up when times get tough.
The wife and I did a summer special in 2018 and took the martial fitness classes here for 3 months. I had a great time with all of the staff, class instructors and other participants. I was shocked to read the comments of the staff being rude because they always had a greeting and a smile for me.
Excellent option for martial arts instruction.
The quality and efficacy of the instructors, curriculum, and processes are high. My six year old attends and I am already seeing a difference in his attitude and confidence. I appreciate the structure, discipline, and principle driven culture and leadership at this facility. I am very fortunate to have ignored the bad reviews. We signed our son up for a two week trial before signing him up for a year.
Avoid this place at all cost!! I went in for a tour of their facility and received more of a sales pitch than anything of substance. I asked only two questions before I decided to leave, which they could/would not answer. One of which was related to the fees associated with belt test. They told me I needed to enroll(pay $195.00)before I could have that information. That is extremely unethical!! They also could not answer if their belts were recognized by any Korean organization/association. I would not have my child train here at all. It seems like an overpriced money making scheme that teaches fluff.

This place is filled with a lot of positive attitude, great and kind people, Laveen is the place to make a normal person into the tomorrow leader that can make the greatest impact on people's life, there is 3 junior instructors that are on the way to become great and loved instructors

Great teaching, good for beginners teachers were good depending on how over filled the classes were. Had both my kids in ATA about 2 years but as for self defense and mma teaching would not recommend this, need more hands on contact the only way you will learn true self defense. For just basic karate and getting your kid out the house this would be your choice.

I absolutely love Lee's ata in laveen!!! I have never experienced a work out like the one I get here the instructors are amazing they push you and encourage you to be your best I started here almost 3 years ago and I could never see my self going anywhere else, I recommend laveen ata to everyone!
Started my fitness journey with Lee's Laveen ATA in Feb. of 2008. This place and it's staff has made a huge impact on my life both physically and mentally. Boosted my self-confidence, got me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to do more athletically and at work to be confident and move up professionally. The staff is great, caring and fun. Now that the school has expanded the space has been great with class sizes for both fitness and Taekwando. This is a great place for the entire family as my son also takes the Fight Club classes there. A great place to train for the whole family, great family environment where you will meet your fitness goals and gain great family like support and friendships. Highly recommend!

In the 3 years we have been there, our kids have earned their black belts, learned from leadership classes and are now in Fight Club learning to defend themselves. As parents, we participate in the fitness classes and haven't been in this good of shape for years! This place rocks and with the added space, there is plenty of space to do cage, xfit, warrior and kickboxing aerobics! Love it!
