The 59th and Thunderbird location is the best gym in the Valley. I am always greeted by a staff that seems to genuinely enjoy working there. The young lady, Megan, who works the front desk is always smiling!
The facility itself is huge so even when it is busy, it doesn't feel that way. Also the staff keeps it exceptionally clean!
I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to reach their fitness goals!

I rate gyms on cleanliness. Lockers may never have been cleaned, showers smelled... sour. I love all the equipment but I could make due with less variety at a cleaner place. In a gym cleanliness is top priority and it makes a huge difference, especially a busy one like this. I'd like to see more attention to that, till then I'm lucky to live near by. I'll just use the amenities at my house.

This location has started cleaning the theater room every Friday, Wich is a big improvement. However, they close it down for 2 hours in the middle of the day. It seems more practical to clean it in the middle of the night and every night would be better. The machines are being kept up better as well. Overall, there's been an improvement.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SCAM!!
Don't get me wrong, I loved my Personal Trainer and the staff were always really nice. That being said, it is not worth it. So many inaccuracies and inconsistencies left me so frustrated and I just wanted to be done, but that was apparently too much to ask for.
This is my third attempt at an "immediate cancellation." Of course, when signing up, you are given the false information that an immediate cancellation is always an option. I was charged for two months after canceling (one of those months are supposedly being refunded, hopefully). I had my bank block further transactions, because I was lied to multiple times about not being charged for things they ended up charging me for, and they still found a way!
Understand, the facility is nice, staff was cool, just ask for everything in writing, and read over it, multiple times. Don't be stupid like me and take someone (who is trying to make commission) else's word. Please be careful.

This is a great gym with great employees. I would like to see the equipment a little better maintained as there are a few machines that have been missing grips for quite awhile,as well as needing to be serviced in the way of tightening loose components. This is a good gym where you can really get in a good workout for sure.

Buyer beware... Had to quit my career of 13 years after a personal trainer disregarded everything I told him about prior health circumstances and assured me it would be OK. They don't care. They just want your money... Took three months to get my membership cancelled and will never see that money again. Facilities are dirty, the club smells, and the employees walk around looking like they've been beaten. Daycare is not trained to handle kids properly. This gym had so much potential, and I was so painfully disappointed.

This is a great gym with great staff. Darien is our personal trainer and he's so awesome at his job. He's super friendly, helpful, and informative. We always feel great after a session with him!

Cool stuff at the gym such as a theater room and classes to sign up for. Would give five stars but it's always crazy busy and it is hard to find a machine half of the time.

The facility and the trainers here are top notch. Same amenities as LA Fitness, but without the BIG gym feel and price. I won't go anywhere else.

This is gym I go to. The kids club is very good . My daughter asks to go there everyday. The gym is not as good as the 24hr fitness in colorado but it's still good.

I went there the other day to check out membership costs and compare to my current LA Fitness membership. They have a lot of great things to offer- I went to the location on Olive. I was helped by Misa and Anna they were very informative and answered all of my questions. The facility was clean. I like that they have a movie theater and a water bottle refill station. The pool, on the other hand, was a little bit too shallow for my liking. It's difficult to do a flip turn at full speed in 3 feet of water, not what I'm used to. Other than that the locker room was very clean the showers were too. The other nice thing is that they do have a suit mate to dry your swimming suit completely before you leave not all gyms have those although they should. I'd go back I'm not 100% convinced on Switching though. We'll see what the rest of my 7 day trial shows.

It's a good gym overall, especially for the price. One thing they could do better is add more racks for dead-lifts / squats. They always seem to be full.

It's 24 hours and I love the fact that it has a live cam to the kids club where you can see your little one when you need to. I do also like that the classes are great the instructors are such great motivators and they're so much fun.

Decent quality equipment; although since after the first few months of opening, there's never been a day when ALL cable machines are fully functional. Staff is friendly and attentive, and does well with keeping the gym clean and orderly. It IS quite congested compared to other locations, which makes prime time hours 4-8pm the absolute worst timeframe to go in and use free weights and weight machines.

Place is a complete money scam. They don't tell you that you have to cancel a month in advance. On top of that they keep charging your account, even though you aren't using the membership. If you cancel payment authorizations from them to your bank they still want you to pay or have it show up on your credit... Don't bother signing up for a trainer either. They don't even follow through with what they promise. My second time giving them a chance not again.

Signed up for the cheapest membership they have, added a trainer for 2 times a month and already paid $140 with in the first month. On top of that they switched my billing account ABC Financial. They just explain the contract had me sign. It did not explain to me why they're going to switch over their billing to a different company. Why can't I just get charged from the company that I'm using? Or at the very least inform for that the building will be switched over. First time I've ever signed up for a gym and probably never will do it again. I dont like getting nickel and dimed. Just want to pay my $11 a month and go to the gym, and the trainer.
But you get charged sign-up fee and yearly lock in rate fee. Be upfront with your pricing.

I can't stress enough how dissatisfied I am with the customer service at this facility, the organization milked me money despite having ended membership, the staff was unclear I was charged for 3 months of membership services despite having canceled because I supposedly didn't make the last payment and so it carried over, even though I paid at the counter. I would suggest not signing a contract for services, or having staff explain clearly what "last payment" and getting a receipt with clearly written explanation. Never again in any state or city will I visit this Gym

I just went in asked a simple question and they're answer and their attitude is rotten!!
I asked if they had a swimming pool and a jacuzzi and they danced around the question. Huge fat zero on customer service!! I just went in right now and the two girls at the counter one of them long black hair & the other long brown hair said "NO WE DONT HAVE A POOL OR JACUZZI SO YOU CAN LEAVE" as i left they were talking bad about me to other customers... I asked another customer as they were leaving if they had a pool and they said yes. Fat zero the size of Jupiter!!

They need a proper ab section/ stretch room. People take mats and weights into the cinema room since there is no room when the front area is being taken up by leg work outs and the ab section is crammed next to a corner where there is no floor space for mats. Movie variety and customer service have become better.

Do you like dirty crowded sweaty gyms with a terrible cancellation policy? If you said yes then boy do I have the place for you! Every squat rack is taken any time of the day and so is the leg press and guess what so are the benches. To make it better the person before you left their trash along with their back sweat since no one wipes down anything. Managers do not care and I was told they have won awards for being the cleanest EOS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Ok gym but look out for hidden fees that they don't disgusted with you when you cancel your account they charge you double and don't tell you about it until you see your statement. Good luck if you sign up and watch your account closely with them.

I'm not a gym person but I wanted to be consistent with my wellness efforts this year. I know it gets too hot for me to exercise outside in the summer so I signed up for a membership.
The gym is clean, equipment is new, staff is friendly and helpful. They have a variety of classes they offer and I'm personally enjoying the spin class (especially Syveria's spin class on Thurs-Sat!).
It's affordable, close to home, well-run, and maintained. Honestly I don't know what more I could want from a gym. They're very open to implementing suggestions and making it a great experience. I didn't used to be a gym person but I might be now...

Denny Garcia, their head trainer is absolutely a lying POS. He will lie to your face about cancellation, He will lie to you about meal plans. He will do absolutely anything to get you to stay and lie when you want to cancel. He will never tell you that you need to call ABC Financial. He will tell you that an email to him is all it takes. WRONG. This 'man' is literally the reason why people hate gym's so much. He is the bottom of the barrel and a true disgusting POS. I am getting charged another $128 for PT which was never completed by their 'trainers'. THEY ALL SUCK.

We have been fighting with this gym for the past 7 months. Despite cancelling our memberships last July due to a move across town, the gym WILL NOT STOP CHARGING US. My husband has been on the phone with them numerous times and was assured our memberships were cancelled, yet money keeps disappearing from our checking account on a monthly basis. Stay far, far away from this place unless you want an eternal gym membership!

I definitely recommend this gym to everyone. They have updated equipment, the staff is very helpful, and great atmosphere. The only thing I would say is if you don't like big crowds, try to avoid rush hour, but other than that, I loved it. The classes are also very good. I want to give a shout out to Cece, she gave me wonderful customer service.

Some man called regarding this review. My phone was at 1% and I requested he call me back the following day. He stated he would call me. Well, still no call back . For someone who stated they take their reviews "seriously" sure is in no hurry to call me back as stated *******^^
I use to have a membership at the Thunderbird location (which was amazing) I had to cancel that last year due to health complications of my pregnancy. Now, that I am back and ready to workout their fees have increased. They stated they could do something for me, until I declined their personal training. The assistant manager finally comes to talk with me, they can't do what I was paying for 2 years with them. She didn't use the exact words, but basically called me a liar that I had the guess pass with my membership. She said I could post pone the monthly payment, but still ends up being more than what I previously paid. I toured the child care area and got a bad vibe from there. Staff did not seem to be alert to the children. Yes, there are cameras so you can see your child while working out. However, the staff are paid to watch them and they just didn't appear to be keeping an eye on them. I'll stick with my mother instincts and stay away! I walked out of there without renewing my membership. After reading reviews and the bad vibes I was getting, I will work out in my own home.

I am handicap. They all always jump to help me. I don't have to ask for assistance. Because they are right there to help me.
Which includes helping me in and out of the pool. They set an alarm to remember to go back to help me out of the pool.
They are unbeatable.

This is the worst gym ever you try to cancel your membership and nobody returns your phone call. I tried to go after work to cancel and the young kids at the front desk always tells me that everybody left for the day. I left multiple messages I even tried to call corporate... nothing. Then they take money from your account whenever they want. My step son had to finally call there financial institution and get on a three way call to cancel his membership and auto withdrawal. Ridiculous. Anytime Fitness is the best place to go too.
